  1. ATI mobility X1300/X1400 -only

The biggest problem is resolution, and i don't think we'll ever see that working for x1400 guys. So probably when i get my next laptop.
  2. Is it possible you look @ the ATI X1400 also?
  3. Help with Acer 5672

10.4.10 Status X1400 - QI/CE working no resolution change Cardbuss - Working USB - Working Sound - Working Network - Rt2500 sweex card working after changing en0 to en1 So the only thing of holding it off i changing the resolution, on the internal display. Are there any developers on this forum who are capable of fixing this issue? Because it's the only card that's not working yet on OSX
  4. APPLE.MAC.OSX.LEOPARD.V10.5.ISO-OSX

Hopefully this 10.5 dvd brings a lot of new drivers for the hardware
  5. Help with Acer 5672

I bumped this topic because of developments over the year. Anyone successfully running osx 10.4.10 on his laptop? I'm running 10.4.10 atm. I'm starting from scratch. There is an intresting topic running about the Intel 3945 a/b/g integrated wireless here Anyone have some more information about their Acer 5672? I'm aware there are also Acer Aspire 5672 with Mobility Radeon X1600's. Anyone any luck with the X1400 on internal display?
  6. Intel Wireless driver

I'll join into this topic. I'm also running OSX now 10.4.10, and i also have the Intel 3945 a/b/g. If someone can fill me in what's the status atm I can start help testing.
  7. ATI X1400

The only thing i really care for is 1280x800 support on my Acer Aspire 5672. I got everything working except for the internal broadcom gigabit and the Wireless Intel ABG3945
  8. Help with Acer 5672

I managed to get the Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Cardbus Controller working. So now you can use your PCMCIA cards also. Thanks to BugsBunny He provided us with 2 kext files, that made the PCMCIA Controller Bus working. Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Cardbus Controller - Works IOPCCardFamily.kext.dmg IOPCIFamily.kext.dmg
  9. Help with Acer 5672

Oke a little progress update from me. I'm on 10.4.7, since i'm not getting 10.4.8 to work yet. Anyone here gotten 10.4.8 to work? Video: X1400 - not working (reported working on 10.4.8 on external display with aty_caretta.kext) Audio: Realtek - working with Azelia USB - working Broadcom 57x - reported working (can't get it to work? no kext available?) Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Cardbus Controller - work in progress (url) Anyone has different findings?
  10. Is there any progress into loading this driver? I'm using myself an acer 5672 laptop, and the only chance to get internet working in osx is wireless. Because Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG isn't working up to date yet. And the internal Broadcom isn't working also.
  11. 10.4.6 (Jas) "Gray Apple" ?

I got the same problem here. And when i boot with cpus=1 i get a kernel panic.
  12. EBIOS Error During Install DVD Boot

I had the problem when i enabled legacy support in VMware, without it worked fine.
  13. Good news for AMD and VMWARE

Can't wait for the release. Nice work semthex
  14. Mac OS X 10.4.8

If only i can get the resolution to work (1280x800) and some other device to run to get wireless working. (I got a Linksys WPC54G wireless network card (I believe that's a broadcom chipset). But i thought my Texas Instruments PCMCIA slots are not supported also.
  15. Mac OS X 10.4.8

I'm looking into to try OSX 10.4.8 again on my laptop. But is it really worth the hassle? I'm on a Acer 5672 Laptop with: Intel 945PM Express chipset ATi X1400 Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Broadcom 54xx chipset Gigabit ethernet My main concern is the video card, to get that work.
