  1. Thank you. Here is the hang screen and my clover directory. CLOVER.zip
  2. Morning, Would you be able to help me navigate a new install? I've managed to install High Sierra successfully using the Nvidia card. I thought it would be a straight swop apart from the new kexts, but I'm stuck in a permissions loop, so I probably have to do a new install. Problem is, NONE of my backup EFI folders are working, so I now have to start from scratch. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hey there, I'm considering buying the Radeon RX560. Can you tell me if it's fully supported / performing like you expected it to? Are there any issues or stuff not working? Also, did you have to use another card / display port at any stage? I don't have onboard graphics, so I will have to do the entire installation and troubleshooting using the card. Thanks.

    Skylake-X Testing (i7-7800X i7-7820X i9-7900X)

Hey guys, I just sold my GTX 1050Ti, now need to find a Radeon (in the same price class) that will work with High Sierra, preferably OOB. I'm running X299 with a 7800x CPU. Any suggestions?

Het mathq, I have a similar setup. Could you upload your EFI used for installation? I'm really struggling to get into the installation stage. Regarding your error, I had the same error on HS. KPG released a very detailed guide for X299 High Sierra. Follow the patch by the letter. It took me three tries, but it did work. All the best

    Skylake-X Testing (i7-7800X i7-7820X i9-7900X)

Hey Quadro78, Thanks it helped me as well. But I'm only managing to get audio through the front earphone jack. I've tried all the plugs at the back, none work. Note that I have a simple 2.0 system, so I'm using the L-out (green) when in Windows. Any advice? Have you tried adding CPUS=1 to your boot argument? It worked for me.

Hey Magsp27, I think you misunderstand. It's installed. MacOS is recognizing the card in both overview and System Report. It has adjusted the resolution setting, and Cuda is also picking up the card. But when I run a bench test, it says that it's still using the software accelerator. And watching movies, you can clearly see the lag (looks like poor refresh rates) so the system is not USING the card, even though it is recognizing it. Hope that makes more sense.

Hey guys, My graphics card is picking up correctly (Geforce GTX 1050Ti 4GB), but it's not USING it. When I run Cinebench, the GFX module shows Apple Software Renderer. I'm also getting heavy lag in general operation and video playback. Any ideas?
  9. I've managed to get the Nvidia drivers installed. It's picking up on overview and detail. But, my refresh rate is really poor, video play breaks up so something is still not right. I decided to test it with Cinebench, and Cinebench sees it as Apple Software renderer. Any advice?
  10. Hey everyone. I managed to get my system to consistently boot into High Sierra Beta 4. I'm trying to get my MSI GTX1050Ti to pick up. I replaced the AppleGraphicsControl.kext file. I've updated the latest web drivers, patched using nvidia driver updater, and run the AGDPfix. When I reboot using web drivers, my boot hangs with a IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0. error. It will then flash on and off until I switch off the system. Please help.

Thanks Quadro, I've given it a run, without changing anything. Good news, I didn't get the kernel error, or the inode thing. Bad news - now I'm getting the plus sign freeze, followed by a system reboot. I'm positive it's a step in the right direction, will try to work the new error out and then take it from there. PS: could you please just let me know what the rest of your setup is, so I know what differences to look out for. I'm entirely illiterate when it comes to Hackintosh, so I'm very much blind when it comes to the subtleties. One last thing. I noticed your CsrActiveConfig is set to 0x34 or something. Can you please explain that, it might be the solution? THanks.

    Skylake-X Testing (i7-7800X i7-7820X i9-7900X)

Hey everyone. For ease of reference, this is my system: MSI X299 SLI Plus i7 7800X 6-core 4.0Ghz MSI Getorce 1050Ti 4Gb 32Gb Corsair DDR4 2400(2x16) Memory Broadcom BCM4360 Desktop PCIe wifi wireless WLAN Bluetooth BT 4.0 Card to Apple I'm trying to install High Sierra. I've managed to go through the entire installation process. Upon reboot, I go into the Clover menu and select to boot from the newly installed OSx drive when I get this message. I'm officially stuck. There's absolutely nothing on the net regarding this error. I've experimented with 4 different config.plist. They all give me the exact same screen, which tells me the error is caused before it even gets to the plist file. I'm also trying to get Sierra installed onto another partition in the same system, but it feels like I'm struggling even more on that side, and with High Sierra I'm so close. I will however keep trying to get Sierra up and running and then update to High Sierra if this keeps failing. I'm attaching my EFI folder if someone would please have a look. Thanks everyone. v2 - HS Install success.zip
