  1. Hello, anybody knows if these laptops are compatible with Hackintosh? X1 Carbon 6 Gen, T480, T480s, T580 or P52S

8700K with ASUS Prime Z370-A or Strix Z370-E Gaming?

I meant ASUS Z370 Prime A or ASUS ROG Strix Gaming E is easier for turning to be a Hackintosh? It seems that the Prime A has no wifi nor bluetooth. So if I choose it, I need to buy these separately.

8700K with ASUS Prime Z370-A or Strix Z370-E Gaming?

Thanks. Which one is easier to be turned into a Hackintosh?
  4. Hello, I want to build a high-end Hackintosh workstation. CPU is i7-8700K, RAM is G.Skill F4-3200C14Q-64GTZ, GPU is Nvidia EVGA 1080Ti. Between the Asus Prime Z370-A and Strix Z370-E Gaming, which do you recommend? I know the Z370-E Gaming has wifi but it seems that it may not work on the Hackintosh. I may need to order a separate usb wifi dongle. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Hello, in case I build a Hackintosh using the Intel 8700K CPU, are there any motherboard that is fully compatible with Hackintosh?

    i9-7900X, i7-7820X and i7-8700K based Hackintosh

I have been a Mac user for a long time. I have been using triple boots (Windows, Mac and Linux) on MBP for over 10 years The reason I am moving to Hackintosh is that Apple decided not to use Nvidia GPU in future system and it is planning to ditch Intel CPU. I see troubles coming. I can understand that Nvidia GPUs are not well support since Apple does not support it. However, I have seen users posting success stories in using the 1080Ti and the CPUs listed. The problem is to find a user with all the components I intend to use with detailed step-by-step setup guide. Thanks. For your i9-7900X system, is there a reason to use Asus Prime X299-Deluxe perhaps for compatibility reason? Is this motherboard fully compatible with Hackintosh? Have you tried using 2x1080Ti on this system?
  7. Hello, I need some advice on building a powerful Hackintosh workstation with 1-2 Nvidia 1080 Ti GPU that can also run Windows and Linux. It looks like there have been successes in building Hackintosh systems based on any of these CPUs. Do they all run well without compatibility issue?
  8. Hello, I am interested in building a Hackintosh using Threadripper. Could you please recommend good motherboard(s)? Is there one that is fully compatible with the Hackintosh?
  9. Hello, I am planning to build a workstation using AMD Threadripper. Can we make a Hackintosh on a Threadripper system? I tried to search for an answer on "Building Thoughts, Reviews and Recommendations" but the link is broken. Thanks
  10. Some manufacturers such as Dell have already announced their i9 laptop with Nvidiai GPU. I am waiting for Lenovo and HP to make the announcement. So, I should wait for them and make a possible purchase decision by eliminating those with Optimus technology. Then, check with the forum to see if the components are supported?
  11. Hello, since Apple does not use Nvidia GPU anymore, I am considering to purchase a laptop with the latest Intel i9 CPU and Nvidia GPU (1050, 1060, 1070 or 1080). Ideally, I hope to make it triple boots (Mac OS, Windows and Linux). As of today, can this be done easily?
  12. If I use Nvidia 1080Ti and 128GB RAM, will it work?
  13. Anybody knows how soon and likely these two platforms can be used as a Hackintosh's CPU?
  14. Hello, I plan to build a machine in 1-2 weeks. It should run Linux, Windows and ideally Mac OS as I am a long-term Mac user. I am considering Threadripper, i7, i9 and Xeon W-2125 or W-2135. I made a post awhile ago and it was closed. Any new development with running Mac OS on i9, Threadripper and Xeon? Some of my applications require CUDA and I plan to install 1-4 Nvidia 1080 Ti GPU. Thanks.
