  1. Hey all, I tried installing Kalyway before but even though my CPU supported SSE3, the OS kept resetting. Strange. Anyway, i want to install Tiger, so these are my specs, what 'distro' would go good? BTW, Its a laptop. Specs: Acer TravelMate 2450 Intel Celeron M 410 @ 1.46 GHz, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 1 GB RAM ATi Radeon Xpress 200M GFX Card Some HD Audio (Says Realtek HD Audio) LAN: Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC WLAN: Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter So, what do you recommend? Also, i have attached the results from CPU-Z in a .txt file. cpuz.txt
  2. No prob man. That's what we're here for. I used to test vista and things i vmware....good times.
  3. Probably, but you'd need to install a 3rd party bootloader such as acronis or GRUB. --> the windows bootloader will over write the old one, and make sure that it don't format your other partition.
  4. Do a Windows Update. The sound driver should get downloaded and installed.
  5. Recommendations on OSx86

Hello, Mac World! Anyway, its my first post as you see, and i am going to install OSx86 on my lappy. I've had some experience with OSX86 in VMware, but anyway on to the point. I am using Kalyway 10.4.10 iso. My specs: Intel Celeron M @ 1.46 GHz: SSE, SSE2, SSE3 ATi Xpress 200m Series Integrated GFX card --> 64mb, i can up it to 128 in the BIOS 1GB RAM WLAN: Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter LAN: Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC Anything else you guys need to know? Oh, and i need to have WLAN. I like the Kalyway iso and would prefer that i dl drivers instead of getting a 10.5 iso. Oh, and i have Linux installed. Heres what my hdd looks like. SDA1--> This is my emergency partition (manufacturer) SDA2--> This is Windows XP SDA3--> This is an extra drive (D:\, Acerdata) SDA4--> Linux (Sabayon Linux 3.4f) GRUB Bootloader. Oh, and i have Acronis DDS on the XP. SDA2+3 are FAT32 and Primary Partitions. SDA2 is the Active one. I may install Acronis OS Selector (If necessary) I plan to Delete SDA4 (13gb) and replace with the Hackintosh partition.
