    This is not a release but latest Clover to test. The installer is restricted. Clover_r5105.zip

    May I look this kernelpatches section to reproduce your issue?

    Thanks for the clover pkg. Tested it but still didnt work unfortunately.

    Enabled debug and this time it showed Error for all the patches in the list. :/

    I tested and somehow changed the possibility to patch kernel with masks.

    The above syntax is good and the patching works.

    The debug message said success

    And I see the result of changing kernel

    I changed the kernel message.

    Test today commit 4618b74d1a9818a6fb5581b84957d7b6b5faa899

    thanks for looking into it .

    This is a 10.14.2 kernel

    Also attached the system.kext (move to S/L/E)

    Hi !
    its been a long time.
    btw does this included OPEMU and if yes did you try adding the latest OPEMU from AnV?

    there is also a lilu plugin to add OPEMU through kext injection but doesnt seem to work properly for sysenter and sysexit for 32bit support on AMD.
    can you have a look and see if you can fix this issue ?

    You want to get the result 833Dxxxx xx000174 xx8B5DBC where x is arbitrary?

    This is correct way. Just sure about Capital letters.

    A bootloader should not be a collector for patches.

    @Slice Hi!
    I enabled debug in clover to see why patches are not applying and saw that clover is showing error on all mask kernel patches present in the kernel patches list.

    Patch[0]: commpage_populate -remove rdmsr
    ==> Success : 1 replace done
    Patch[1]: cpu_topology_sort -disable _x86_validate_topology
    ==> Error : 0 replace done
    Patch[2]: cpuid_set_cache_info - cpuid 0x8000001D instead 0
    ==> Error: 0 replace done

    and so on ......

    Here are the kernel patches that are shown above debug:

     COMMENT : commpage_populate -remove rdmsr
        FIND : B9A00100 000F32
     REPLACE : 0F1F8000 000000
     COMMENT : cpu_topology_sort -disable _x86_validate_topology
        FIND : E80000FF FF
     REPLACE : 0F1F4400 00
     COMMENT : cpuid_set_cache_info - cpuid 0x8000001D instead 0
        FIND : 31C031DB 31C931D2 0FA24189 C6000000 00000000 74
     REPLACE : B81D0000 8031DB31 C931D20F A24189C6 0F1F4000 EB

    These same patches work fine in Opencore on catalina.
    So not sure whats wrong, maybe any issue in the mask patching logic in clover ?

    Thanks !

  7. @Slice
    thanks for implementing the mask patching to clover .
    i am trying to use the mask kernel patches from opencore to clover.
    but it doesnt seem to work.

    can you confirm that this is correct way of mask patching in clover ?

           FIND: 833D0000 00000074 008B5DBC
        REPLACE: 00000000 00000100 00000000
    MASKREPLACE: 00000000 00000F00 00000000

  8. AppleHPET Probe Fix.
    Upon boot AppleHPET.kext will fail to load with error AppleHPET::Probe() failed.! on 15h_16h systems.
    To prevent this i made a kext patch to use with clover or opencore.

    Kext To Patch :

    Name: com.apple.driver.AppleHPET
    Find: 01000084 C0
    Replace: 010000B0 01

    by the way... this is on Sierra. Not High Sierra

    thanks for the output !
    looks like XCPM is not working
    both xcpm and frequency vectors returned zero.

    xcpm will only work when `kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu` returns nothing
    `kextstat|grep -y x86plat` returns as kext loaded
    `sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.vectors_loaded_count`
    and `sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.mode` returns 1.

     I'm confused. If I'm not wrong , Ragimund didn't do the PM patch but the output seems show some kind of PM. :surprised::blink: . Geekbench 5 is not familiar to me. It seems has a new scale score. An important tool to check if cpu down or up speed is  Hwsensors + sensor kexts.

    I'm not in front of my computer. I'll try as soon as possible. Just out of curiosity, what's this for?

    to check if xcpm is working properly or not .

    thanks !
