  3. [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

    so i have the boot cd and a copy of snow leopard on a usb/external hard drive. however, after booting from the cd it doesnt give me an option to boot form usb/external hard drive is there command i can use in chameleon to get it to search my usb port or is there a way i can incorporate the e6410 boot cd to the usb thumg drive?
  4. what laptop is fully supported?

    if anyone has any input on how their install went with whatever hardware, ideally i5 and above, it would be really appreciated. how is the battery life like? acpi? stability? etc. ideally if anyone has any exp with the dell 5410, dell 1458, or the lenovo x201s? from my understanding usually its drivers that become an issue, but as far as being able to use all the cores shouldnt be a problem right? ati vs nvidia vs intel onboard? intel wirless or dell/lenovo? any help would be much appreciated thanks.

    thank you! worked like a charm i found the kext i needed to delete aswell. the first time i tried your advice it gave me an error about the kext not working and unusable? but strangely i tried it again and it worked? thank youuuuuuu <3 now if only i can get my EMU 0404 USB to work... but i think that goes in a different forum once again THANK YOU NOTDAVE!
  6. Snow Leopard on Inspiron 530

    Anyone with some advice on getting my sata working? I've tried following the directions here: however, i can not find AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext in my snow leopard partition. i checked in /Extra/Extensions and it d.n.e. I followed step 3 and 4 and reboot doesnt give me access to the drives within snow leopard. I can see my other drives when im at the boot screen with chameleon, but once inside snow i cant access it and it doesnt show up in disk util.. in my lepard install all drives are avail help
  7. Installing on Dell Inspiron 530

    i have the keyboard loop problem.. i tried rebooting it with -s option, however, i get stuck on the Kernel version line and it doesnt appear to do anything... do i have to do a complete reinstall to get it to work? i have the iatkos dvd aswell should i give that install a shot?
