  1. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

First I tried 27b9 and didn't work. Then I tried 27b8 and modify AppleLPC's info.plist to match but same thing, didn't work. 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation 82801GB/GR (ICH7 Family) LPC Interface Bridge [8086:27b8] (rev 01)
  2. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Hi, My hackintosh load AppleLPC kext but I don't have that "Restart Automatically after a power failure" checkbox in my energy saver. Also my hack won't shut down without OpenHaltRestart.kext. I would like to know how should I modify my dsdt to fix these "problems". Could someone check my dsdt.dsl and give some tips? Thx! dsdt.dsl.zip

  4. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Okey, here are two files: Ioreg -l with firewire card and ioreg -l without firewire card. Yes, I think everything else is working. And you are right, we should try to fix the sleep problem first . IoRegs.zip
  5. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Yes, sleep works without firewire card. This is the card I use: SIIG LP-21011-S8 Firewire 3-port 2 ext. & 1 int Should I try some other card or modify my dsdt.dsl file? Also my firewire card is not listed in system profiler PCI-cards section, is it problem? Thanks for the help!
  6. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Hi all, I need help because my Hackintosh (retail 10.6.2) won't sleep. I have tried almost everything. Hackintosh goes to sleep but wake-up immediately. I attach also my dsdt.dsl file if someone could check it. I think my problem is related somehow to firewire pci-card. It is located in second (MB has only 2 slots) pci-port, because graphic card takes the other pci-slot. I need firewire card because of Elgato Eye-tv 610. I have 6 kexts in Extra/Extensions folder: - fakesmc - LegacyAppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver - LegacyATI4800Controller - LegacyHDAPlatformDriver - OpenHaltRestart - PlatformUUID I have tried SleepEnabler, but it didn't solve sleep problem. I use bios F10. Here is a text from system.log: Nov 19 23:43:38 Mac-Pro loginwindow[39]: loginwindow SleepWakeCallback will power on, Currenttime:11/19/2009 11:43:38.007 PM - Waketime:11/19/2009 11:43:38.000 PM = Deltatime:0.006806910 Nov 19 23:43:38 Mac-Pro configd[15]: network configuration changed. This problem is really frustrating. I thought that I choose good components to make perfect mATX hackintosh. dsdt.dsl.zip
  7. Sleep issues with GA-EP45-UD3P

I have also that kind of problem. I discovered that the problem is related to my firewire pci-card. If I take it off sleep works. With firewire card sleep works but it wakes up after 1 second.
  8. Sleep and then Wake after 1 second

I have also this same stupid problem! Any solutions yet? Sometimes sleep works, if the computer has been long time powered off and I put it sleep immediately when Snow Leopard starts.
  9. Hi, I'm gonna replace my graphic card as topic title tells. So how I must do that? Now I use graphics enabler string in com.apple.boot.plist. Should I add some device id's to kexts or something else before replacing graphic card? I use Snow Leopard.
  10. I have also this silly problem. Any solutions yet? Same problem in Leo and SnowLeo. My hackintosh is: MB: Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L, with Q9550 processor. 4Gb Ram.
  11. 10.5.7 Released

Updated my hackintosh from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7. No problems. I have to only use old kernel. Only the same problem which was in 10.5.6 still happens in 10.5.7. When unrar some packages or if hard drives are highly used, sounds get glichy and mouse get jumpy. But after extraction the jumpy mouse goes away and sounds are normal. I use AnV newest kernel and have sata-drive in n-force 4 motherboard. I'm very happy if someone could give me answer to my problem. Thanks.

    How to update AMD-system?
  13. ›› Voodoo XNU Kernel is now Released

I got jumpy mouse when I extract files or add large movies to itunes (itunes move filest to it's own directory). Also sounds starts scratch. But example, when exctracting files is completed, problem goes away. I have Asus A8n-Sli nforce4 with amd x2 4200+ processor and sata hard-drive. I use latest voodoo kernel in 10.5.6, but the problem was also in 10.5.5. Could it be ethernet or sata-related problem?
  14. 10.5.6 Released!

I have Asus A8N-SLI mobo and athlon 4200 x2 processor with sata hard drive. Of course voodoo kernel 9.5. My 8800 Gts 512Mb (g92) work with efi string, in 10.5.6. But my USB hard-drive doesn't work. Also I have kernel panic when launch VmWare Fusion 2.0. I also have same problem in 10.5.6 which I had in 10.5.5. When extracting files or hard drive read a lot some files, mouse become unstable and cursos "jumping" in the creen, also sounds scratch. Annoying problem
