  1. Hi I am trying to install Lion 10.7.4 using your tutorial (USB stick install) on my P5N-E SLI (nForce 650i chipset). During the first launch; i get the following error : I couldn't find any useful intel on this error message. Of course, the install program does not detect my 5 hard drives (4 SATA, 1 IDE). Do you know what could be the problem ? Thanks for any help

    nForce LAN driver

First, i would like to thanks the creator of this kext. I use it for a long time now on my P5N-E SLI (nForce 650i) without a problem. I have recently updated my hackintosh to 10.6.7. I also updated my nForceLAN kext from 0.64.5 to 0.64.6. But, even if i get an IP adress, i will able to visit websites only for some seconds to some minutes. After, i lost connection. I have no such problem with the older version of the kext. If the creator wants some debug logs or details on my problem, i would be glad to help. Thanks again for the awesome work.
  3. You can maybe backup and restore your system with TimeMachine. Can't tell because i never used it.
  4. Seems strange. I didn't get any problem to update to 10.5.7 & 10.5.8. Bad luck :-/ I think you have to reinstall iPC. You can't revert back to 10.5.6.
  5. Maybe because the guys behind iPC already included what was needed. The instructions with the kext must be for people which updates from "old versions" like 10.5.0.
  6. For 10.5.7 update -> download combo update -> mount the dmg -> install -> reboot No kext manipulation. I don't even repair permissions but i think it should be done with OSX86Tools. For AppleDecrypt.kext & IntelCPUPMDisabler.kex, they should already be in the Extensions fodler of Leopard, so don't need to put them in the Extra folder.
  7. Fot 10.5.7 update, i just download and install the 10.5.7 combo update : http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_..._7_Combo_Update You should re-install iPC and install directly 10.5.7 combo then 10.5.8 combo. For 10.5.8, i use this tutorial : http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/08/update-...osh-osx86-1058/
  8. I assume you can change them back but only testing will tell
  9. I have the BIOS 1101. Yes, i have made changes in the BIOS. Here are the main options to set. http://img84.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=photo0039n.jpg Edit : by the way, the OpenHaltRestart kext should be selected for installation. It solves halt/reboot problems. Can be found here : http://www.psystar.com/opensource/openhaltrestart Edit 2 : Install the kext from this topic for onboard lan : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=125569
  10. Ok, here is my installation : I use iPC 10.5.6 and install Leopard on a MBR partition. I have a tri-boot Leopard / WinXP / Win7. Here are the options i select : -> Kernels # 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel -> Drivers -> Chipset Drivers # AppleNForceATA nForce Drivers -> Audio Drivers -> ALCxxx # ALC883 -> Fixes and patches # SATA Drive Icon Fix (new) # Dual Boot Time Sync # SeatBelt.kext 10.5.5 -> DSDT patches # Patch DSDT -> Apple SMBIOS patch # AppleSMBIOSEFI And that's all. The installation finish but the computer may not reboot automatically so force it. Then no problem to boot. No problem to update to 10.5.7 and 10.5.8. Tell me if you want details.
  11. I'll try to give you the informations as soon as possible but i am quite busy right now.
  12. I have this mobo and the guide seems quite complicated to me. To install Leopard, i use iPC 10.5.6 then install combo updates 10.5.7 & 10.5.8. The installation is straight and just require to check some options (very few) at the installation of Leopard. Sorry for bad english.
