  1. Hello, I am new here and want to get my 5970 working in Mountain Lion. I used the ##### method of getting the OS installed and am currently at the desktop with everything working ok at the moment except for the 5970. I have been reading and searching about it and have seen that the drivers are already in Mountain Lion for the 5000 series cards and I need to modify kexts to get it to see the card as a 5850 and disable the second GPU. I can't quite figure out where I am actually meant to find the next files that need modifying. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
  2. Hi, I am new here , and want to do a build . I built loads of PC's in the past and recently got an iMac, which I like, but the lack of upgradability is killing me , and {censored} me if I am going to get a Mac Pro! They look good but cost way too much . I just saw on Engadget them talking about Psystar offering Mac builds that can install Vanilla copies of Leopard! This got me excited because if I can build a system and have it running perfectly with and be able to reinstall etc if I need to in the future then that is amazing! I don't want to go all out, but I want to get a nice GPU (around $300-400) and a pretty damn good CPU. So!!! Please recommend parts for a good build that will mean i have full functionality/compatibility. And do i need EFI Emulation. :pirate2:
