  2. Dont know about unmounting the drives but I just removed all the HD icons from the desktop, from Finder prefs. I like a clean clutter free desktop. All the partitions are still available from the sidebar though! If this is common knowledge, Im extreemly sorry for wasting your time.

I just wanted to point out that the first 10 pages have nothing to do with the alleged hoax.
  5. Essential Mac Programs

Toast for CD, DVD burning works well. Office made my system crash for a couple of times, so, I had to let that one go. Talking about deleting stuff, Appzapper is a must. Its a shareware so you can test drive it. For webdesigning, If you are not a professional but want to have fun with it i'd suggest rapidweaver. It comes with a bunch of templates and is fun to use.
  6. BIOS time changed

Thanks bud! The batch file works gr8
  7. Hi all, I have a dal boot system and use acronis OS selector. But the problem is, my OS X and XP instalations do not show the same time. One is 5 hours ahead of the other. Everu time I change the time in OS 10 the BIOS time gets changed. This is messing up all my scheduled tasks and puts a wrong time stamp on all my outgoing email messages Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks in advance
