  1. Might there be a way to manually invoke this update rather than relying on the OS to do it at boot time? Beyond my technical ability to figure out unfortunately but you seem to know your stuff!
  2. Yes, you need to remove the BootROM chip, or at the very least short out pins 4 and 5. See here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/high-sierra-native-support-for-10gb-ethernet.2092875/page-2# cMPs won't post with enabled BootROMs. Since Aquantia have not provided a utility to disable the bootROM (like Intel do with their cards) it must be physically disabled with a mod. Hackintosh's don't have this problem as they are essentially PCs and will post fine with any BootROM.
  3. Has anyone tried 10.13.4 beta 1? Any changes in Aquantia compatibility/behaviour?
  4. Thanks. I wonder if the updater specifically looks out for the Mac being an iMac or whether this would also happen when in a cMP.
  5. Can this really be what is happening? Why would Apple even do this? And through what mechanism? This doesn't add up for me. Any further thoughts d5aqoep?

Driver for LSI MegaRAID SAS family

Does anyone know if the PERC 6i works in a Mac Pro 4,1 or 5,1 rather than in a Hackintosh? I'd like to use one exclusively for booting Windows 10 with, so it neeeds to be bootable. Thanks!

Aigors, I'm a complete newb at this so please bear with me I have the Asus Maximus V Gene board also, so I'll try this BIOS and report back. Thank you for providing this! Should this version you provided allow installation of both vanilla Mavericks and Yosemite Preview? My Gfx cards are 2x GTX 680 SLI, so those should work natively I think, albeit not SLI. maximus-v-gene-asus-ozmo894m-1903.zip
  8. johnsock, THANK YOU! Really appreciate your efforts on this. Works perfectly on my i7/SSD MBP. Thanks very much! Of note, I had used the initial 1.0 script on my i7 and then found it not to work. This made it very difficult to then run the 1.1 version as it would inform me that the mbr had already been modified. In my trying to fix this I accidentally overwrote my backup too! So, what I did was edit out the section where it checks to see if the script has already run, crossed my fingers and ran it! It worked! Cheers.
  9. Yes, this would be awesome! My Hackintosh project would be finished if this were fixed. I cannot believe how good it has turned out. Faster and smoother than any Mac I have ever used. 10. Thanks Snikx! Will keep you posted on how I get on. Appreciate your help. Squiddy
  11. Anybody know where to buy an ASUS P5LD2-VM DH with PCB R2.0? Apparently ONLY PCB revisions R2.0 or above support Core 2 Duo CPUs. I need an online vendor in the US, anybody know if Newegg's stock is PCB rev2.0? It looks as though this board is currently the best for OSX86 at the moment, please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you for your help.

    10.4.7 is out

But don't we want the kexts too? It sounds as though there are some improved drivers in there, especially for nVidia users? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
