  1. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Ya I followed your guide all the way through. Everything seems to be working but some websites give like a lag spike when scrolling or sometimes just plain random lag spikes doing something that's not Internet related . 128gb ssd with 8gb ram Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I'm using a T420 and have generated my DSDT. Do I still need to edit my VoodooPS2Controller?
  3. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

  4. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hello, I redid my T420 following your guide now that I understand more about the build and because I felt as tough I had a lot of unneeded files the first time around messing with everything to get it to work. This time everything worked flawlessly with all the provided files. I am now experiencing something weird tough I am unsure if it's related. Disk Utility will detect my additional drives but my external hard drives will not mount and I also have replaced my CD drive with a HDD and this will not mount either. Any pointers? Also, Thank you very much for creating this guide, I think I can say for everyone we REALLY appreciate all the work you put in. Just FYI I found a solution here I Reinstalled Paragon driver and after reboot both drives now mount again.

  6. Lenovo ThinkPad L420 macOS Sierra

Hello, I tried using your SSDT-2 with my DSDT and tried using yours with your config but unfortunately could not get it to work. I boot up with a black screen. I am using the same wifi card and have installed the modified Bios. attached link is my DSDT and Config file that is working for me, any help is much appreciated. https://filebin.ca/3Ox42O81twS5/DSDTandConfig.zip Also if you use Atheros AR9285 like me you can use the attached SSDT-2 and see if it works, otherwise provide here your DSDT
  7. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Everything has been working great, my only issue now is if the system is booted up VGA does not detect anything. If I put the display to monitor before boot it will come up but the screen is glitchy and shakes, the resolution is not right either.

Usbs are working. But I'm not sure if it's working properly for all devices. How do you control the resolution on vga? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  10. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Is there a way to test that the usbs are functioning properly? My traktor s2 controller will connect and be detected and can be used for sound but will not be detected in my traktor app. Also is there any for me to test and figure out what's going wrong where? Ant input?still shaky during VGA also.can Someone point me in the direction to figure it out myself? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

So I noticed if I start the monitor before boot I can get the display to it also, however, the resolution may be off on monitor? it shows decently clear but shakes.
  12. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Followed these steps and found some duplicates, Not sure how I did that but I removed them all and reinstalled through kext command and now the sound is working. The only other thing I don't see working atm is bluetooth. Are there some tests I can run to make sure everything is working? Edit: I also would need to use the VGA output to a monitor, I am hoping this is doable.
  13. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I was able to install the kext files with the command utility. After this I rebooted to test and this is not work. I also tried installing them using the Kext Utility and same results. When I use About Mac it only displays 10.12
  14. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hello, First off thank you very much for providing this guide for the T420. I really appreciate all your hard work. I have it installed and working on 10.12. However, I have tried installing the Ktexts from the guide and from the newest T420 clover files. I also tried using the Ktext utility but did not change anything. I am using my stock bios at the moment until my programmer comes in. The only issue I am having now is getting the sounds to work. output shows none. I am fairly new to the OSX on PC'S. Maybe I am missing something? Any help is much appreciated.
