  1. My Leopard installation went smooth as silk. I did upgrade from my previous installation. Everything seems to work just fine. The one exception is: SAFARI WON'T START. How lame is that? Anyone having this issue? Is there a way I can reinstall it from the OSX installation disks? Thanks. ___ ____ ____ ___ ___ ___ EDIT: Problem solved. Since I have 4 browsers installed (Firefox, Safari, Omniweb and Opera) I moved them to a "Browsers" folder inside the Apps folder. After the Leopard upgrade, another Safari was installed. But my dock pointed to the old one, that wouldn't boot on Leopard. So, if you guys face this problems someday, just check if you're clicking the right Safari icon.
  2. http://www.apple.com/feedback/imovie.html Come on, guys.. we need to voice out how bad we need those features back in a revised iMovie 08.
  3. Unlocking iPhone

According people first analyzing the tech specs, the chip is incorporated (U.S. at least), and the battery is not replaceable unless you take it to Apple (kinda like the iPod.
  4. Quick way to encode Divx to DVD?

I Think Roxio's Popcorn may do that. Altough I generally do the opposite. DVD to DIVX. : )
  5. InsanelyHacked!

It was a sad fact, indeed. But those of us that joined the IRC room, shared some quality moments together. We heard from Panther that she was in an Apple Store, turning down a bargain on a 20 inch iMac and went out to lunch after some considerations of her needing some shaving. And Colonel and Cow managed a great dialog about q and p.
  6. backround pic from wwdc?

This grass thing sucks. Anyway.. hazkid. Good Job in finding it. Leopard Disc, maybe?
  7. When is Leopard Going to Leak?

Can you ship some to Cupertino? Address it to Woz.
  8. 64-bit will be all the rage in Leopard. But we early adopters of the iMac Intel that sport a Core Duo, need to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo (64-bit ompatible) so we can enjoy Leopart in all its glory. Aside from Maclife's Tutorial, I never managed to find other. And do you guys know what processors can I upgrade to? And will all settings be recognized by the Mac? Did anyone there upgraded the HDD too? I never thought seriously of upgrading before.. But now I'm compelled to do so (after all, I'm not willing - $$$ - to buy a new mac right now) Thanks, moid Edit: What we need now: - A Core 2 Duo Merom Processor like this one
  9. MacFUSE 0.1 Released

Now it would be great a free Utility like MacFUSE so Windows can read and write to HFS+. MacDrive is not free nor has a Vista version and they didn't announce when it will be available.
  10. macfuse, finaly somebody done it!

I'm getting this after the last command: Error opening partition device: Resource busy Failed to startup volume: Resource busy Failed to mount '/dev/disk0s3': Resource busy Mount is denied because the NTFS volume is already exclusively opened. The volume may be already mounted, or another software may use it which could be identified for example by the help of the 'fuser' command. edit: On realfolkblues' post, there's something about Vista... This release works with read/write support on Vista installed disks right?
