  1. Unfortunately, not 100% fixed: Oct 27 20:26:53 Mac-Pro kernel[0]: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel timeout! Oct 27 20:27:33 Mac-Pro kernel[0]: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel timeout! Still have some "random" OSX-freezes...
  2. You could extract the files to /System/Library/Extensions/ (backup first from the "304.00.05f02 Web Release.mpkg" file using Pacifist and then repair permissions using Disk Utility
  3. Great news, this (OpenGL) is fixed!!!! I'm on: 10.8.2 Asus GTS 450 1GB And most importantly new NVIDIA-drivers: QUADRO & GEFORCE MAC OS X DRIVER RELEASE 304.00.05f02 Version: 304.00.05f02 Release Date: 2012.10.02 http://www.nvidia.co...f02-driver.html Tested: changing resolutions; no more blue screens (or actually a blue screen, but then it recovers) Tested: coming out of 3D game; back normally to desktop Not tested: display sleep (i've it turned off) Rockin'! |-)
  4. Still have the same problems after updating to 10.8.2...
  5. GTS 450 Screen Tearing (and other issues)

Hiya! See also this related topic: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=280742 Can you change your resolution without getting a blue screen? Cheers!
  6. :-( Do you also see in /var/log/system.log, things like?: Mac-Pro kernel[0]: NVDA(DMA): Channel exception! exception type = 0x1f = Fifo: MMU Error Mac-Pro kernel[0]: 00000069 Mac-Pro kernel[0]: NVDA(DMA): Channel timeout! Mac-Pro kernel[0]: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel timeout!
  7. Hi fellow hackintoshers! Having the following issue on ML, using an (Asus) NVIDIA GTS 450 (1GB), GraphicsEnabler=Yes -> when I change the resolution the screen turns blue, everything else disappears! (somehow this looks like a very familiar problem ;-) By default it's on "best for display", and then everything (resolution/refresh rate/QE) works fine. When I select "scaled" all the possible resolutions are normally there, but when selecting another (usable) resolution, everything disappears and I get stuck at a blue screen. So why change? well it also happens when I connect a 2nd monitor, but that one does not automatically goes into the best resolution. And... A similar problem happens when coming out of a 3D game (having no problems in the game) , I get a distorted image, LM graphics seems to have crashed then, but system has not totally crashed. None of these problems in Lion, and in Lion changing resolutions on dual monitor also works fine. Anyone having the same issue in ML? Anyone any suggestions for a solution? Cheers! NeverMind
  8. GeForce 6200 AGP on SL

If I search for 0x00010, then the only entries I get are in the "Device (MEM)" section, as "0x00100000, // Address Length". gfxutil -f display, gives me: DevicePath = PciRoot(0x4)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) Any other suggestions?
  9. GeForce 6200 AGP on SL

banini_jeque: Where did you look for _ADR, 0x00010000? In the extracted/patched dsdt.dsl ? I don't have it in there.. Is your P0P1 under PCI0? jarodsix: You have a P4 SSE2 only and SL? How's that working for you? Which kernel (mod) do you use? Do you have hanging processes? Does installer work? Does Safari work for you?
  10. GeForce 6200 AGP on SL

Thanks for the info banini_jeque! I might still be doing sth wrong in the DSDT patch. In Leo, my Geforce is under PCI0->AppleACPIPCI->pci-bridge@1->IOPCI2PCIBridge--display@0 (without DSDT). I still haven't figured out yet how to get this the same by a DSDT patch. If I add it under PCI0 as AGP (or PEGP) and GFX0, it doesn't give me QE/CI (neither on Leo). Anyone any ideas? | -) Cheers! NM
  11. GeForce 6200 AGP on SL

hi all, hi banini_jeque! Great to read that it is working for some of you, thanks for all the info I am still trying to get it working on my XFX AGP Geforce 6200 256MB on 10.6.2 + EFI v10.5 (tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes) ATY_Init.kext is giving me a KP :censored2: So then I removed it again, and tried a patched DSDT. I used PCJ's code, and changed the NVCAP to the one I see in Leopard. [EDIT] Still not working... (I just get a 1024x768@60hz again) Oops did i put the code in the wrong place? |-) That's why it didn't do anything... After putting the DSDT code in the Device (PCI0) section (where i should be?) I also get KP! Seems like i am stuck with KP while trying to get QE/CI... [/EDIT] banini_jeque: what did you have to change to get it working on your 6800? People with working AGP: do you have an SSE3 cpu, or SSE2 only CPU? Cheers! NeverMind
  12. hiya, i guess I missed the links the first time i looked on the Google translated Chinese website... Found them now , thanks |-) N.M. p.s. But where is the .diff ?
  13. Hi! Sounds great, but where is the link to download the patch/diff file for the source? Cheers! Never Mind
