What about the new ATI HD4850 ?

How does I install this on the EFI-overlay partition, I have put all the 6 .kext in the extension folder, but what more do I need to do?
  3. Hi Guys! The thing is that I have tried to install a retail copy on my machine (P5Q Pro, E8400, 4850). I have a retail dvd, and I know that the DVD is ok, cuz i have booted it with a real mac. I have flashed both 1613 and 1613 Slic BIOS for P5Q Pro and put my sata into AHCI mode. I can boot from the 132 cd, and also from the retail dvd, but when the classic leopard backround appear, the language selection never comes up... Does anyone know what's wrong? Cheers

You can use the NC10 package for other installations, i think it installs trackpad, keyboard and graphics drivers (only shure about the new graphics drivers )

I might have missunderstood your question, but when i install the trackpad pref panel, the pointer goes smooth and fine, or is it only working for me?

Yeah, but then you go into the Trackpad panel, and you lower the "Tracking Speed".........

I'm pretty sure that it would mess up your booting, since xp and windows 7/vista use different bootloaders. try "hirens boot cd", run it from a usb stick, choose "mini xp version", and thereafter "ghost32", it can create images of disks, partitons etc.

Does this version support DSDT? If not, could I install this (http://######.com/weaksauce12/?p=309), or would it screw up my installation (have it in dual boot with windows 7). Also, looked at this driver for the display (since the included one doesn't support mirroring?) (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=143340&view=findpost&p=1042759) would it work with the sammy?

I would reccomend winrar or 7zip, and burn with dvd decrypter.

Hi, got my NC10 couple a days ago, and since then i've experimented with different os. But my problem is that when i install things (or only Huawei's Mobile Partner) the application dosen't show in Applications. I start the installer, type in my password, and finally, the installer says that the installation was a success. So far so good, but when i try to locate the app in Applications, i can't find it! Anyone noticed a similar problem? //Smoothie

Or why not a BCM4321 (Dell 1505) for 25$/17£. Got mine for 16£ http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Broadcom-802-11n-300...p3286.m63.l1177 Cards badged as HP are usually much cheaper than the dell cards, but they still uses the same chip .
