  1. ATI Framebuffer development

No AtiLead in there. RadeonPCI is though. I used device ids 0x59751002 and 0x59551002 in Atilead info.plist ioreg.txt
  2. ATI Framebuffer development

Changed anything in ATILead? I lost the ability to change resolution, and it detects my X200M as "Display". also says it has 256 RAM, while I only have 128. EDIT: adding this from Sys Profiler. Before I installed ATILead and RadeonPCI, it always gave me 5975 as device ID. Display: Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x5955 Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

I'm about to test at least RadeonPCI and AtiLead as well (and if those work well, Radeondump) Like Pericles I have X200M PCIE (5975). Am I right in thinking I should disable Callisto for this?
  4. Going back from Dual to Single Boot

If anyone ever runs into the same thing: solved it using this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=75974
  5. Since updating to 10.5.3 I finally found my OS X install to be so stable, that I decided it was finally time for that glorious moment - formatting my windows partition. I hadn't booted into it for over a month now, and I definitely could use the storage space. So I went ahead with Disk Utility and made myself a nice HFS+ partition. Only thing is - The Windows partition was of course the first one on the disk. I got an "Error loading operating system". I then booted using my Leo4all install disk, and all worked. I then looked around the forum, and tried to update the MBR using "fdisk -u /dev/rdisk0". Since then it only gives me the blinking cursor on boot. (still boots using dvd though) Getting around to my questions: - Have I f*ed up my MBR by doing the fdisk thing? - Is it even possible to boot if the only OS there is is on the second partition? If yes: how? If no: what is the best way to "copy" my second partition to the first one?
  6. ATI Framebuffer development

Don't know that much about this, but in Post 50 (by Slice) i see a for i=4 loop, which gets the resolutions from the EDID. And you happen to get 4 resolutions. So my guess is it first passes the 4 lowest resolutions, and the script never gets to 1440, as you do have the common 640,800,1024 and 1280 ones. So maybe changing it to i=5 or 6 might do the job? (feel free to shoot me if this is a stupid answer)
  7. Radeon Xpress 200M

I'm getting confused. Will this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=96664 work for the X200M?
  8. ATI Framebuffer development

Hi, I'm really interested too, this thread is the first thing I go look at when I start Safari. (But we're not supposed to ask things in the X Labs, so I jus wait around) QE/CI is the only thing I'm missing right now. Thanks for making the effort for us! Justin
