  1. I'm having a little problem with my card (168c:001c:1a32:0100): 0c:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter [168c:001c] (rev 01) Subsystem: Device [1a32:0100] Above the original lspci output, as you can see my subdev_id is 0100, which is found 4 times in my eeprom dump. If I change all 4 to 004e my card doesn't work anymore. There are simply too many combinations to try here. Can anyone please give me some guidance which ones I need to change? Below is my original dump. 0000: a55a 0000 0040 0001 0000 5001 0000 0100 0008: 1a32 1c0a 0100 0000 01c2 0002 c606 0001 0010: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0018: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 d0c4 c417 0017 0020: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0028: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0030: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0038: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0040: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0048: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0050: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0058: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0060: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0068: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0070: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0078: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0080: 1400 168c 001c 1402 0001 0200 140a 5001 0088: 0000 140b 1a32 0100 140f 0100 1c0a 1410 0090: 5001 01c2 ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0098: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 00a0: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 1700 17c4 c4d0 00a8: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 00b0: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 00b8: ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff ffff 0008 00c0: 6a7b 5003 da6e 0404 81dc 0182 02ff 30ff 00c8: 15a3 0005 0400 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 00d0: 0000 0000 0000 0000 2d2c 0000 0000 0000 00d8: 0000 e028 a492 1c00 000e b8ca 01b3 0000 00e0: 08f8 6b4b c059 0d71 0000 0000 0000 0000 00e8: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 00f0: 0000 0000 2870 03a9 a618 4daa a8a2 da55 00f8: 021c 0007 b0ff 01b5 002d 0000 ff70 14ff
  2. I'm not sure what you mean by that, my mouse is also not working 100% and I have no usb keyboard, so I'll have to use the on-screen-keyboard to install another PS2 package. Can someone give me some pointers or perhaps a download to a right package with drivers?
  3. Nobody can help me on this? Or shine a little light on it, I can't believe I'm the only one having this issue
  4. Anyone any idea? I might have to add that my keyboards function keys and cursor keys work normally.
  5. I've been trying to solve this since I first tried OSX on my laptop, but I always run into these weird keyboard and mouse problems. Keyboard: At first it seems to work fine in a shell, then after a few seconds of typing most keys do not work at all and other keys just log me out, after that the keyboard will not function normal again until I reboot. Mouse: Every click becomes a right click after a few minutes, this will go back to normal after a few minutes of doing nothing. I've only experienced these problems in OSX 10.5.x installations, the install itself always goes flawless and OSX seems to detects my hardware just fine. ATKOS 10.5.5 still has the above issues for me as well as any other 10.5.x I've tried e.g. Leo4All, JaS, etc, etc. On contrast in 10.4.x the keyboard and mouse work just fine, but in there my video driver (x3100) is not supported (or atleast I can't get it to work), and no wireless (atheros). Solutions I've tried: Different PS2 packages from several wiki's and forums, deleting old kexts and replacing them with the ones from 10.4.x did not work, tried several different drivers from the different OSX builds I've tried. All to no avail, I have given up trying to solve this on my own. I hope the experts here can shine a light on it and help me to get 10.5.x to run on this notebook. Let me know what kind of information you need apart from the above, and I will give it to you. My laptop is a BenQ S32/S32B/S32W with a T8100 cpu, 3GB of ram, x3100 gpu, atheros wireless and a realtek sound card. I've attached some logs from the system profiler, if the full log is needed let me know (its 1.3mb). If it seems the problem is too vague or impossible to solve, I would like to know if i can get the x3100 and atheros to work under 10.4.x, and where to get the right drivers. dutchcow_benq_s32b.txt
  6. Users with GMA 950 / X3100 Real Macs needed here

Where can I find a version that works on my 10.4.11 install? 10.5.2 is giving me keyboard/mouse headaches... apart from my x3100 10.4.11 "just works".
