  1. As you may already know, my 1 month old 13" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz laptop got ruined when i spilt shampoo over the keyboard (dont ask). It required a new logic board and the cheapest i could find on eBay was $1000+ postage. After hours of searching i managed to find zeotomic.com which actually specialise in logic board replacements. I was a bit sceptical at first as i had to send my logic board to them before i received the brand new replacement one, but they were actually really helpful and kept me upto date via email. So anyway - new logic board arrived about a week after sending my faulty one in and with the help of ifixit manuals i successfully installed the new logic board SUCCESS!! I am so happy as a lot of members on here said it was best to just scrap the mac for parts. If you have a liquid damaged laptop i would strongly recommend checking out www.zeotomic.com as they are the cheapest around (for me anyway) Sam x

Hi andy you can use the oem intel heatsinks which come with mounted fans. just ebay socket 771 heatsinks and any of them will do really - however if you get the fans this does increase the noise level of the mac pro.

  4. Mac Pro bluetooth problem - Does anyone know how to fit a apple bluetooth chip?
  5. Hi, i have a mac pro early 2008 board connected to all the original parts it should have and all i get when i plug the power cbale in is a solid white led light on the front. After a while (15mins) the OT B led comes on the logic board for overheating issues but that proves there is power. Ive spent near $1200 on this build and really need it to work for university. Im 90% sure the logic board is not faulty along with the PSU. There is no reason why it shouldnt power up as it has all the correct ram/cpu fans graphics card etc. Please Please help x

Hi, im interested in the X5482 cpu, there are 2 on ebay for bidding £1200 (330334554672), thats overpriced isnt it? As for that price you could almost buy a brand new mac pro 2009 Nehalem. Regards Sam
