  1. AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext is loaded. SSDT tables had no effect. If i start with GE=No i don't get any graphics-output. I have to enable Graphics Enabler. smbios.plist is configured with the Mac Pro 5,1 template in Chameleon Wizard. Well, just black screen and no VNC/Airdisplay connection after wakeup. Only spinning disks and clicked-clack now and then from the dvd-drive. Any more suggestions? Installed the new nVIDIA graphics driver. Now it seems autosleep + wake up is working correctly. More testing.
  2. Done everything what you suggested. AppleGraphicsPM is indeed NOT loaded. But i don't know how i can load it. AppleLPC is loaded. Didn't try dumping SSDT tables, as i don't know how
  3. NullAppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext is NOT installed. My issue: When my hackintosh goes to sleep, after a while it wakes up (because of the "Wake on Lan") but hangs. The harddisks spin up, the fans are running, but there is always a black screen, and even over VNC it is not reachable. And after a short time i hear the DVD-Drive reinitializing. If i send my computer manually to sleep and try to wake it over lan, the same thing happen. I have to power off completely the machine, because if i just push the reset button, or push the powerbutton longer, it won't start osx. Here the system.log from a sleep/wakeup cycle: Oct 5 15:53:12 newcore.lan WindowServer[113]: Created shield window 0x4b for display 0x0b40b5b0 Oct 5 15:53:12 newcore.lan WindowServer[113]: device_generate_desktop_screenshot: authw 0x7f9e3b42e3a0(2000), shield 0x7f9e3c1432e0(2001) Oct 5 15:53:12 newcore.lan WindowServer[113]: device_generate_lock_screen_screenshot: authw 0x7f9e3b42e3a0(2000), shield 0x7f9e3c1432e0(2001) Oct 5 15:53:14 newcore.lan com.apple.time[11]: Next maintenance wake [backup Interval]: Fri Oct 05 16:49:23 2012 CEST (approx) Oct 5 15:53:14 newcore.lan com.apple.time[11]: Requesting maintenance wake [backup Interval]: Fri Oct 05 16:49:23 2012 CEST (approx) Oct 5 15:53:43 newcore kernel[0]: Wake reason: ETH0 (Network) Oct 5 15:53:43 newcore.local configd[17]: setting hostname to "newcore.local" Oct 5 15:53:43 newcore.local configd[17]: network changed: v4(en0-:192.168.1.3) v6(en0-:fe80::224:a5ff:febd:91f2) DNS- Proxy- SMB- Oct 5 15:53:45 newcore kernel[0]: Ethernet [AppleYukon2]: Link up on en0, 1-Gigabit, Full-duplex, Symmetric flow-control, Debug [796d,af08,0de1,0200,cde1,3800] Oct 5 15:53:45 newcore.local configd[17]: network changed: v4(en0+:192.168.1.3) DNS+ Proxy+ SMB+ Oct 5 15:53:45 newcore.local configd[17]: network changed: v4(en0:192.168.1.3) v6(en0+:fe80::224:a5ff:febd:91f2) DNS! 4. Well no luck for me. I tried every dsdt i could find, but sleep/wakeup issue stays.
  5. thank you Thank you, will try out the kext + the dsdt from mountain lionizer.
  6. Jep, patched it. Maybe i was doing it wrong. Could you tell me which dsdt.aml you are using, and what patch do you applied? There are several (Lion,Mountain Lion, false patch, right patch, not easy to find out because everyone write "Here is the patch" but not the applertc.kext version or osx version), please?
  7. And is sleep/wakeup working on your asus p6t? I followed those instructions too and on mine it's not.
  8. And is there a working DSDT.aml for Mountain Lion? Thx
  9. Hello! Can anyone help me? I installed ML 10.8.2 on my ASUS P6T Deluxe (Core i7 320 + nVidia 9500 GT) and everything is working fine, except Sleep/Wake up. When my hackintosh goes to sleep, after a while it wakes up (i think because of the "Wake on network") but hangs. The harddisks spin up, the fans are running, but there is always a black screen, and even over VNC it is not reachable. After a hard reset, i can see my login-attemts over VNC. I tried the nodarksleep=1 but the error stays. Its really annoying, because the only thing i can do is to power off the machine complete (or don't allow it to go to sleep). Thanks.
  10. Slow Hard Drive Performance ICH10

    nope .... kernel_task is on about 0.4 % CPU
  11. Slow Hard Drive Performance ICH10

Hi all! I tried passw method and deleted AppleHPET.kext (of course made a backup before). Then i had kernel panics cause of AppleIntelPowerManagement.kext (or something like that). Installed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and now everything is working like it should. Before i had a lot of problems with my DVD. And now? Nothing, nada! ... now updating my Signatur. Maybe someone can find out why deleting this kext works.
  12. 4870 Golden Sample issues

Hey ho lets go!! I have a Gainward Radeon 4870 GS. Mine works with the kext found in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1245913 Everything else is vanilla I'm using the DVI Port on the card. i didn't test vga. No need for the HDMI-DVI-VGA Dongle.
  13. Snow Leopard on Asus P6T?

Hey ... well ... back again and not very happy I managed to install SL on my Asus P6T. Everything you need is in the file i attached. How i did it: In Leopard i partitioned my external HDD with two partitions (GUID). First partition called "Snow", seconde temp. Then i restored the SL install disk to the temp partition. After that i installed Chameleon RC1 to Snow and replaced the boot file with the boot file in my attachment. Copy everything in my file to the root of Snow. Then reboot and in Chameleon choose the temp partition. Install should boot fine and you can install SL on the Snow partition. Maybe you have to change the UUID in PlatformUUID.kext and change the requirements for you grafix. I was able to boot when grafix, uuid and the Extensions.mkext were allright. But i have a lot of problems: AHCIPortInjection doesnt work how it supposed to do. My DVD-Drive very often hangs and in System Profiler or Disk Utility i get spinning beachball. I also can't get rid of the hangs were SL freezes but when this happens i can move the mousecursor anyway. Maybe someone can help me. PS.: Is it possible to enable the ethernet controller with DSDT.aml patch? PPS.: Sorry for my bad english. Asus_P6T__Deluxe__with_Gainward_Radeon_HD4870__GS.zip
  14. Snow Leopard on Asus P6T?

Yep. Tried it. Installed SL on external USB Drive. The internal Disks are not available (cause i switched in BIOS to RAID). But my System just stopp working sometimes (i think its the external usb drive, in Leopard i got the same problem on this drive) I'm going to write tonight (now i'm at work ;-) ) what i did to get SL up and running. Maybe someone can help me with my problem ;-)
  15. USB Woes

Hi! I have the Asus K8V deluxe and my USB 2 is not working. What did you set in BIOS and wich kext do you load. Everything works exept USB. And that sucks. Hope someone can help me. I have already tried everything i found in the forum.
