  1. Como se inyecta el video en Chameleon 2.0 RC3 ?

Bueno, nunca he usado esa linea. No se que hace. Pero prueba borrandola del com.apple.boot.plist. Puede que no sea necesaria. Yo tengo una 8400 GS y funciona de maravilla utilizando solo el GraphicsEnabler y nada mas.
  2. Help me find a solution!

OK, but what do you mean by the other output? DVI?
  3. Help me find a solution!

It can't be the output. You see, when he turns on his PC and boots into 7, then reboot and load OS X, it works. But if he boots OS X first, then it gets stuck in a blue screen. If he shuts down the PC on OS X then when he turns it back on the USB keyboard does not respond and OS X does not load properly (blue screen). So the only way to boot correctly into OS X is to turn the machine on and boot into 7 first, then restart and boot OS X. It is kind of weird.

  5. Help me find a solution!

Hello, I recently installed 10.5.8 on my brother's PC. Everything works great but he is experiencing some weird stuff that I have yet to resolve. First, he is dual booting OS X and Windows 7. Now, when he boots OS X, the system does not load after the apple screen (when it goes to the desktop). All you can see is a blue screen. He has an nVidia 8400GS, and it works using Chameleon's "GraphicsEnabler" option. Now here is the weird thing. If he turns on the PC and boot into Windows 7, then restart and boot into OS X, the desktop does load. Everything works great. For some reason, the system does not boot well unless you boot into Windows and then reboot and boot into OSX. This is the first issue. The second issue is just as weird to me. If he shuts down the PC while on OSX, once he turns it on again the USBs do not work (at least the keyboard). In the bootloader you can't move to choose which OS to boot, nor can you enter the BIOS (again, keyboard does not work), however, once an OS boots then it works. I hope I explained myself clear enough. I don't know if someone has experienced this or has a solution. I searched the forum but gave up as I could not find a similar situation. What could it be? By the way, the specs of his machine are: Athlon 64 X2 4600+, 4 GB 533 MHz DDR2 RAM, 320 GB HDD, MSI GeForce 8400 GS.
  6. GeForce 8400GS 256MB XFX Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

You do not need a kext to make the 8400GS work. I do not know if this works on Leo, but at least on Snow Leo all you need is Chameleon RC3 and nothing more. If you enable the "GraphicsEnabler" the card should be detected automatically. That's what I use with no need of additional kexts. You can give it a try.
  7. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Update to 10.5.8 and I can send you my files.
  8. [How To]Radeon X1600 (71c0-71c5) in SL 32/64Bit

Well I think most people don't use this card series anymore like they used to, otherwise we would have more threads about it. I have an X1650 and have yet to find a working solution to enable QE/CI. If the only available instructions found here don't work, then I suggest to be a little patient and wait for another how to or get a new video card if you want to use SL.
  9. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

I don't have dual monitors so I can't say if it works or not.
  10. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Yes, but your card is supported in Leopard, not Snow Leopard, am I correct? The card works perfectly in Leopard, but in Snow Leopard it does not. So I need SL drivers actually.
  11. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Tried, but not extensively. I gave up. Still on Leo until there is a working driver.
  12. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Oh ok. Anyway, I ask because I have yet to get our card to work in Snow Leo. So far, no one has posted a working driver.
  13. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Did you get it to work in Leo or Snow Leo?
  14. 0x71C1 - 0x71C7 ATi X1650 Pro fix (QE/CI/Rotation Enabled)

Yes, either that or stay in Leopard. I tried everything I know, but no luck so.
  15. [Snow Leopard] ATi x1650 - Res Change, no QE/CI

I too have an x1650 but so far no luck in getting QE/CI to work. Most I've gotten is resolution and rotation. The card is recognized properly too. But without QE/CI, its useless...
