    VMWare trouble

I just installed 10.4.6. Everything went smoothy until it finish the install and booted up for the first time. At the screen to choose country, it didn't list any countries. I had to reboot and it worked. After I got into the OS, did the updates and restarted. Thats when I got the same error. I guess I can't do online updates huh?

It should boot from external USB Drive. I got mine to work. I have a Dell XPS 2 and I just hit F12 to get to boot menu, and choose my USB Drive. Works great, slow bootup but once in OS everything is pretty fast. Now, just need to get higher res then 1280x1024...

    Has anyone read this? http://engadget.com/2006/01/11/no-xp-on-in...-is-good-to-go/
  12. Got it installed on a External USB Maxtor Hard Drive. No Network (Broadcom 570x Gigabit), No Wireless (Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG), Sound seems to work, but doesn't show a discription for it under Apple Profile. And Can't get 1920x1200 Resolution or 1600x1200. Stuck with 1280x1024. I did add <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1200x32</string> to the file co.apple.Boot.plistIf anyone can help with that. Would be great! Also PPC Apps seems to crash the OS.. How can I find out what patches had been applied to my OSx86?
