  1. Sleep - Monitor wont turn off

Hah , nice to finally find that i am not alone in the world with this problem. It's exactly the same thing. When the sleep timer tries to turn off my monitor only the picture freezes. And the monitor is left on. I changed my videocard from Ati PCI-E X600 XT to Ati PCI-E HD3650, and it's still the same. I tried with different monitors but it could not sleep any... So far I've had Kalyway 10.5.2, Leo 4 All v1,v2 and iDeneb 10.5.5 running but same result on both. Finally i tricked it with a single black pixel set as a screen saver. But there is still a low light left on the screen. it's not a pitch-black.... Please if anyone finds a solution for this, share it or make a Topic... God Bless Hackintosh
  2. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

YEs Apps that use more resources , for example Photoshop, Illustrator, or Traktor Pro , even Firefox closes but it restores the session.. I got an idea. Can it be because I use the StageXNU kernel ? I can try with the Sleep kernel or SpeedStep. I don't know the difference, What's SpeedStep used for ? I see you are using it..
  3. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

Hey do you guys have some problems with heavier applications , are they closing unexpectedly ? Because that hp 500 looks like older than mine dv4725nr. And i think i messed up with the framework or something , cause now most of the applications i am running are closing..
  4. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

I have a very strange problem now, Some of my applications happen to quit unexpectedly.. Even firefox does it sometimes.. I tried repairing my permissions on the os x volume , and I just thought i was lucky when suddenly again another application dumped and quited unexpectedly. Has anyone experienced the same problem and could it be fixed? I am thinking of reinstalling iDeneb and if does it again i will go for XxX 10.4.11 Rev.2 , I heard it worked well with Gma900. Or maybe some other release?
  5. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

I can not remember all of them but i used the StageXNU kernel, some power fix, ICH for chipset , and for Video you can even choose nothing it's all messed up with the GMA900, what else... i don't remember other important stuff.. Good luck!
  6. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

I chose none, leave it to install it's default... Hope that helps
  7. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

Hey how did you fix your OpenGl framework , cause mine is still not showing any version in the profiler... UPDATE: I overwrote the OpneGL.framework with the one from a friend's macbook with Leo 10.5.5 . Then on next reboot i got a messy screen with half grey and lots of artefacts. notting worked. So i booted up windows again , and deleted just the "A" folder in Versions and put there the one from lemnisk8 link. AND VOALA! NOW I HAVE QE/CI WORKING !!! 10x again to everyone involved ! However I do experience some mouse tearing and little artifacts from time to time, and photoshop cs4 is making me some troubles , but after all it's working ! Now we can just wait for some solution for those nasty artefacts... I hope someone expert will help us out here ! Big THANKS !
  8. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

How do I get the old OpenGL reinstalled ? I can't think of another way than reinstalling the os x again
  9. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

Yes, mine has no Version number. What should we do then? And is this OpenGL framework the reason there is no QE ? Also I don't know if this is reasonable but i have set my video to share 128mb and it says it's only 64mb, while on Tiger 10.4.6 it was showing 128 and i had full QE/CI .. Thanks to everyone that has a part in this tremendous GMA900 issue...
  10. [How To] GMA900 with QE and CI support on Leopard.

I did this on my hp dv4275nr and now I got all resolutions unlocked and indeed no paperclip needed on boot - 10x god, But i still got no QE/CI Anyone have a tip ? Really need QE..... HELP
  11. iDeneb 10.5.5 problem

I have HP dv4275nr and had the same problem. I tried the paperclip trick at first but later i read somewhere that it was no longer working in Leopard. So here is what i did: I installed windows Xp first , then on another partition i installed iDeneb, after install i went back to windows and deleted all tha AppleIntelGMA kexts (950 & 1300) as well as the AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext Then I was able to boot iDeneb normally but without native resolution. After that i followed the instructions here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry962686 and this got my video working without paperclip tricking and with full resolution support, I am still having no QE/CI running but i hope i will find a way to get it working. Also i messed up my video a couple of times but whatever happened i went back to windows and deleted the AppleIntelGMA kexts to reset the modifications. Good Luck !!!
  12. Lenovo Laptops

    rndll32 the links doesn't work
  13. hihi, yes i've bricked my leo around 10-15 times already. will not give up. I will try now this iDeneb 10.5.5 release and if it does not work will get back to kalyway 10.5.2 and try the update again. Otherwise i read all the instructions carefully and did the steps exactly the way they were written. but i am not sure what happened... nvm i will try until i succeed. Thanx for the support...
  14. I followed the steps and after the restart, mac os could not boot anymore... it keeps restarting at the bootloader. Damn it, I knew i should stay on 10.5.2 when everything was runing ok... will stick to my old rule: Do not update if it runs ok. Gotta reinstall the os x now... cause i can't stay long in this windows ...
  15. Marvell on Leopard (10.5)

Ok I got mine prob solved by putting an external PCI lan card - some old 3com. I plugged the cable and it started working without any driver. So for those who are having difficulties with their On Board Lan cards, just buy one cheap PCI card and put all your worries away... Cheers!
