1. HWSensors

Thanks for this, now HWS is working here like a charm. First, this is really a great piece of software, but it needs a better description in the OP, so people know how to use it. Second, in a earlier version I could check the CPU MHz, but now it's missing?! Or just me doing something wrong?
2. Read write on Windows Partition

http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/index.html Works nice with Lion, but be care full you will always have damaged file system when writing on NTFS, no matter which solution you use.
3. Yep GM here. Do I need to bin patch ATIRadeonX1000 or ATIRadeonX3000? Thanks...
4. Huch great guide, but when search & replace BE68 by BF68 it founds 78 items here. Save the file and reboot gives a KP: Maybe search & replace is doing a to good job here? Do I need to run anything after saving the file, kext utility or so?
5. Hi Azimutz, thanks for your reply! I'm really cracking my head for the last few days to make the HD6750 work, did lot of reading the forums and google and so on, but there is some progress. What I have done so far: - replace a dev id 68BE with 68BF in the ATIRadeonX3000.kext - already added the dev id to ATI5000Controller.kext But still DVD-Player not working, do I need to bin patch something, and what is bin patching? Thanks.
6. Hi r2arthur, yes its desperately me. Okay what I have done so far to make it work is: - installed Xcode from the SL disk - downloaded Chameleon trunk from http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleo...tree/HEAD/trunk - edit ati.c and added: sudo lspci -nnvd 0x1002: | grep -B2 Subsystem pcilib: 0000:01:00.0 64-bit device address ignored. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Juniper LE [AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series] [1002:68bf] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: PC Partner Limited Unknown device [174b:e148] -- 01:00.1 Audio device [0403]: ATI Technologies Inc Juniper HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 5700 Series] [1002:aa58] Subsystem: PC Partner Limited Unknown device [174b:aa58] Device ID: [1002:68bf] = 0x68BF Subsystem ID: [174b:e148] = 0xe148174B { 0x68BF, 0xe148174B, CHIP_FAMILY_JUNIPER, "ATI Radeon HD 6750", kVervet }, - compiled the code and replaced the boot file with the new one, add <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> to the /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist - edit ATI5000Controller.kext / Info.plist and add your device id 0x68BF1002 Reboot and pray! Geekbench is running and the performance is good, only problem left is DVD-Player is crashing and the task-bar at the top has no transparency. Does this mean QE/CI isn't working? Any of you ATI Pros, can you please give me a hint what I'm missing here? Be kind with me, it's my first time doing such stuff. Thanks in advance!
7. Calling all ATI Radeon HD Owners

Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 Vapor-X (Juniper 0x68BF1002) PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68BF&SUBSYS_E148174B&REV_00 PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68BF&SUBSYS_E148174B PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68BF&CC_030000 PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68BF&CC_0300 1002_68bf.zip
8. Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 Vapor-X (0x68BF1002) I'm in the same boat, any advice much appreciated!
9. Ah I have the same problem, I fix it by running Kext Utility and reboot. Strange thing is when I'm booting into Windows the Intel NIC dosen't work there, fixing it by reinstalling via the device-manager. I know a bit uncomfortable....
10. - Yes mine is showing the card in Graphics / Displays AND PCI-Cards + HDMI Audio working I think I have a idea, I have almost the same machine at my office except the graphic card is a HD 6750, will try to replicate by cloning the HD over there and see what will happened. I guess it has something to do with my boot file and Extra folder.

12. Supported Graphics cards with Full QE/QI

Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 1GB Vapor-X (0x68BF1002) It's not almost working now: GraphicsEnabler=No - boots, but stuck at 1024x768, no QE/CI GraphicsEnabler=Yes instant reboot after passing camelion Any idea to make it work, is welcome. /Edit Look here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1714565
13. Exactly, but just with my first installation (10.6.8 > 10.7). Under PCI-Cards it says "Driver installed: Yes" (Treiber installiert: Ja) this is how it looks like on a real Mac. When I try to install it all over again from scratch with andyboot5.iso, I can't bring it back. It could be possible, in my first install (10.6.8) I used andyboot4.iso where there was a bundle of ATI kexts included, maybe I've used this, then upgraded to 10.7 Lion and the system keeped those custom kexts? @Andy Anything special about those "ATI drivers" ? A bit OT, but any chance to get a Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 1GB Vapor-X to work with lion? (0x68BF1002)
14. Too bad, couldn't replicate it. BUT I had a Acronis image from my first installation, and guess what: So I'm running my HD 5780 with GraphicsEnabler=No and have native graphics support, the performance is much smother as with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. As I told before, with GE=Yes there is no entry ATY.Uakari listed in PCI-Cards as well. How is that possible, can please someone tell me??? Since I'm not be able to replicate it and it would be good to know, when I'm trying to do a fresh install the next time. Thanks.
15. Mh strange, I'm sure I always used GraphicsEnabler=No and had DVD Player and Geekbench working, plus this PCI-Cards ATIUakari listed in System Profiler. Will try to replicate this later at home. Thanks again. /edit http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1706484
