  1. I've been trying to do this myself for some time now that my Fusion and VM Workstation versions are up to the latest. I run XP SP3 on a Mac Mini thats drive is split between leopard and xp. I know VMWorkstation can handle raw partitions, is the main problem that it's not getting 'passed' the EFI stuff that happens at boot time? I've been hitting my head against a wall with this one even though I have a perfectly good hackintosh in the works. Could some sort of alternative boot loader be put on that 'unused' partition to bootstrap the system in VM mode as you can define the raw partitions and boot order in the vmware settings and 'bios' Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
