  1. @viker_14 I guess it is your first time you heard about hackintosh, right? I suggest you to read more about, hackintosh science is not an exact science, which is meaning that it might work differently on certain config.

What @Cyberdevs replied to you emerges from several technical words, which may seem quite strange to a novice.

We have several AMD sections (for each different macOS version), you can always take a look. We also have the search feature which can always help you find similar topics. Anyway, good luck with your first hackintosh.

    macOS Big Sur 11 beta 3 (20A5323l)

    July 22, 2020

Users on macOS Big Sur 10.16 beta 1 or 2 will see the full install image for macOS Big Sur 11 beta 3 in the Software Update panel, rather than a smaller incremental update image. To download the incremental update image, click “More Info…” in the Software Update panel. Either image can be used to install beta 3

The fact is that even Apple does not know if it is 11.0 or 10.16.

Excuse me, are there any way to change the amount of a donation because I want to make a donation of $7.00. Thanks

The PayPal button is preset to a very small fixed fee of $10.00 USD that cannot be changed. If you want to donate a different amount, you'll have to log into your PayPal account and make your own manual/direct donation to InsanelyMac. The recipient address is visible when you place your mouse over the PayPal donation button.

Right click on Paypal button + copy link address = https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?business=donations@insanelymac.com&cmd=_xclick&currency_code=USD&amount=10&item_name=Donation to InsanelyMac

Change 10 into 7 then go to that new address

  5. I did but you'll have to search deep down. Or keep searching here in MSI section for some information about how to install SL on your netbook.

  6. Hi,

    And welcome at InsanelyMac. :)

Actually, we do not allow posting direct or indirect links for any kind of original and/or modified app/dmg/cloned image/distro of macOSX that do not come from Apple servers, which it is meaning that we'll not be able to honor your request.

But you still can use google search, right?  :)

  7. Hi,

    And welcome at InsanelyMac.  :)

About your request, I deeply doubt people are still in interest with such kind of very old macOSX version. So, your best move would be to keep searching for information in that section.

Or, try to install one of more recent macOS versions, like Sierra, as you have a config that is perfectly able to run it.

We have the dedicated sections for each macOS version, so read well before you decide to give it a try. We also have a wiki, even if it seems abandoned, there is still helpful information.

  8. You want to have the choice on how you want to sign in (with your login name or your email address), right?

The email you used to register is attached to your account name (login name + password). It is how our forum software works.

Do not know if the next software updates/upgrades will add this feature, but in the meaning time, your only choice is to use that standard way to sign in.

  9. Hi  :)

I do not know if I understood you well but just know that before the forum upgrade, people were able to sign in with their facebook or twitter accounts but these plugins are no longer compatible with the current forum software version. As they have to be completely rewritten, they had been disabled. No clue if one day it will be fixed. So just une the standard way (login name + password) to sign in.

Mate just check pictures in spoiler. I make photo for u. On Catalina I blocked that via AdGuard but he does not work BigSur.

I didn't know I was your mate - Never mind, you say you're able to block that ad under Catalina and not under Big Sur. Did you ever think it could be related to Big Sur and nothing do with us?

  11. os_version < AsciiOSVersionToUint64("10.16")

Maybe we severely should consider that macOS Big Sur is 11.0 and not 10.16?

    -  return (os_version >= AsciiOSVersionToUint64("10.8.5")) && (os_version < AsciiOSVersionToUint64("11.0"));
    +  return (os_version >= AsciiOSVersionToUint64("10.8.5")) && (os_version < AsciiOSVersionToUint64("11.1"));

  12. Hum... the forum is still in lack of performances from my side, especially when the page is charging after I deleted a topic or warned a spammer.

Also "mention" feature does not work properly, I can only mention one person by post. And once the person mentioned, I cannot go to the start of a new line, I must compose my message after the mention, on the same line.

  13. @Cyberdevs  Seems like an issue with pagination but I can reproduce the same behavior only with the current theme and once I switch to IPS default theme, the problem is gone, everything is working well.

@smx  Do you think it would be possible to put back the quiz to deal with spammers? It worked well before.

  14. Hi everyone  :)

I didn't want to post this before @smx did it, but since he still didn't responded, so I'm going to do it. :P Just to let you know that before Fubra guys do their work on their side, I asked smx (our tech team member) to take a look at it and he gentilly helped. He has applied a workaround for the search indexer and that also fixed background tasks issues and indices are rebuilding.

But due to the extra large amount of topics/threads/posts (do you remembers a recent topic with >50 pages in one week?  :P ), this will take a while.

Once done we'll see if the forum gets quicker or not.  ^_^

This is a very great news, thank you so much to  @smx for his help. All credits go to him. So pls be kind to not react to my post, as I do not deserve it. Just wait 'til  @smx replies and then react on his post. I would really appreciate it.
