  7. I am selling my Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard to help pay for some much needed car repairs. I never used it as my main rig and it was really only used for Hackintosh testing. It has BIOS 2602. Comes in original box with all accessories, which are all still wrapped up. The only parts I used were the motherboard and the I/O panel. Everything else remained in the box unopened. The board has not been overclocked and it has less than 50 hours on it. It was bought new from Newegg and is basically still in new condition. I have installed Kalyway and Leopard 10.5.7 using the boot132 method. Both have worked flawlessly. Asking $125 shipped but I am open to offers. I also have a Lian-Li PC-A05 Black case which I am selling too. Here is a link: Lian-Li PC-A05B at newegg I will try to post pics of it soon. Asking $60 shipped. If interested, PM me or email me: mcneal DOT jason AT gmail DOT com ebay ID: the.robot.ham
  8. Updated to 10.5.8 everything seems fine except I lost QE and CI. Tried reinstalling various NV kexts, repairing permissions, etc. and have had no luck. I've done some searching and haven't found any solutions. Anybody know what to do to restore QE and CI? FA: DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL

I put my Blood Iron mobo up on eBay: DFI Blood Iron It's a highly compatible Hackintosh board and guides can be found on this site and others. The only reason I'm selling is, I'm getting ready to move out of state. I'm just trying to clear some stuff out so I don't have so much to pack!

    G5 optical drive mounts

You won't be able to use standard hard drive screws and I doubt you'll find what you need in a hardware store. The G5's optical drive actually slides into it's mounts and has two latches that hold it. The screws fasten at the bottom of the drive and have raised heads which fit the mounts. Here are some: G5 Optical Drive Screws Hope this helps!

FS: DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL mobo

DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL motherboard for sale. Comes in original box, with manual and CD. Board is in good shape except for one RAM slot has a clip broken off. It doesn't affect operation, RAM seats good and tight without the clip. 13. Picked up a used Blood Iron mobo and I've tried this install at least 5 times using this method. The install gets about 80% complete and when the progress bar says "7 minutes left" - the screen goes gray with a kernel panic. It happens this way every time. I am using a retail 10.5.1 install dvd. DFI Blood Iron XFX 7800 Fatal1ty 8gb OCZ ram WD 150gb Raptor SATA HD NEC IDE DVD-RW E6550 2.33ghz C2D I've done a Kalyway install on an ASUS P5W DH Deluxe so I am familiar with the hackintosh install process. Just can't figure out what's wrong with this Blood Iron install. I tried adjusting the ACHI settings in the bios and that didn't make any difference. Any help would be appreciated!
  14. I've read countless guides and forum threads about setting up a dual boot system with Leopard and XP Pro and have not had any success getting Leopard to boot after the install. I feel like I've tried everything so I'm here to ask for help... I initially tried a single drive partitioned with both XP and Leopard - no luck. Somehow the XP partition kept getting corrupted during the Leopard install and I'd end up with a system that wouldn't boot anything. So I gave up on a single drive, dual boot system. I tried two separate drives, one XP and one Leopard and I still can't boot Leopard even though I have been successful creating the 'chain0' patch. I end up with the flashing cursor in the upper left corner. I have been able to install Leopard by itself using the Lifehacker article BIOS settings which specify AHCI. But XP doesn't like AHCI so I've been working on the dual boot system with the BIOS set to 'Standard IDE' and 'SATA'. I can install Leopard no problem but I can never boot into it after that. I've tried both MBR and GUID but I guess it doesn't like the 'Standard IDE' settings in the BIOS. Even with the Leopard hard drive plugged into the SATA1 port and the XP hard drive not connected to the mobo at all, I still can't boot into Leopard. So to recap: I can separately install either XP or Leopard on this machine and both work just fine. It's when I try to have both installed at the same time is where I run into problems. Here are my questions: 1. What are the BIOS settings for an XP/Kalyway 10.5.1 install that doesn't use AHCI? 2. When setting up a dual boot system, does the Leopard drive need to be MBR or can it be GUID? 3. My hard drives always show up as 'Third Master' and 'Fourth Slave'. How do I get one to show up as the 'Primary Master'?
