  1. iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 Released!

@CharredPC: Isn't the Leopard Graphics Update 1.0 included in 10.5.5 by default? Or you are doing this to somehow fix the X3100 driver?
  2. iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 Released!

Unfortunately, same problem here as GFOnyX on an Intel X1300-based Asus laptop. Boots fine with -x at the prompt but after that freezes on a blue or black background with a mouse pointer.
  3. MadTux, I think your idea is pretty brilliant and maybe that's the right way to create drivers for on-board audio chips not supported by OSX. I understand the process you are describing, but can you please post a few screenshots of the editing process? For example, when we come to this: how exactly do we enter the data from the codec dump? Thank you
  4. iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 Released!

Thanks for the release, Layne I'm using 1.1 at the moment and I'm pretty happy with it. I will somewhat wait for 10.5.5 until Apple (or Adobe?) figure out the Adobe PDF print issues from CS3, but anyway, thanks As a side note: how do you fix the ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext error? I was constantly getting this with different distributions until I got a fixed BIOS (DSDT-related issues).
  5. (work) ALC660-vd 10431783 Asus M51SN

I can confirm that the second ALCInject works on Asus X51L laptop: ALC660-VD Vendor Id: 0x10ec0660 Subsystem Id: 0x10430000 Revision Id: 0x100001 Howver, shutdown isn't working after KEXT installation.
  6. Leo4Allv4.1 AMD Released

@7210211: If your external HD is NTFS-formatted, you need to install NTFS 3G (http://www.ntfs-3g.org/) in order to be able to write on it. If it is HFS+ (Mac OS) then maybe you need to check your permissions for the drive (do a Cmd (Apple) + I on it in the Finder and look under Sharing and Permissions at the bottom).
  7. OSX86 on Intel P45 chipset?

Hi, BiTRiP Will you be able to mod a BIOS for an Asus X51L laptop please? I see you guys are all commenting on the Asus P5Q MB series, but I thought I'd give it a try . Link to the latest v. 205 for the X51L: http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip (China) http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip (Global) CPU is Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T2390 : 1.86 GHz, 533MHz, 1MB L2 Cache Chipset is Mobile Intel® GL960 Express Chipset + ICH8M Video is Embedded Intel® GMA X3100 2GB of DDR2 667 MHz RAM PS: I saw szzz posted a modded BIOS for this exact same model some pages back, but he is not mentioning what is it fixing. If somebody has experience with the X51L model and a modded BIOS, please share. Thanks in advance to everyone
  8. Hi, Kabyl I am looking for a modded BIOS for an Asus X51L laptop. Link to the latest v. 205: http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip (China) http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip (Global) CPU is Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T2390 : 1.86 GHz, 533MHz, 1MB L2 Cache Chipset is Mobile Intel® GL960 Express Chipset + ICH8M Video is Embedded Intel® GMA X3100 2GB of DDR2 667 MHz RAM The only distribution I can boot is Leo4All v. 3, with cpus=1. All the others I have tested hang at some point with kernel panics in ACPI_SMC module.
