    Time to make things clear...
As already mentioned by me in the German community @trueadm posted in the thread of @KGP-iMacPro that the VII only runs when the IGPU is on in the bios.
The whole thing didn't leave me any peace today and I wanted to know it exactly, so I set up a small test setup.
Since I was missing a CPU cooler, I had to improvise a little, as you can easily see.
Don't worry all parts live and CPU was kept constant at 53/54 degrees

    What turned out now ?

Yes, the card has acceleration when you edit the kext but ONLY!! :

    if...

    a) the IGPU is active or

    b) basically there is a helper card in it

If both are not available then the behavior already determined by @KGP-iMacPro or myself mentioned from day one.

    Hi. @Loloflat6
For Mojave you need new kernel patches. Kernel patches from HS do not work on Mojave.

The best way is  unlocked BIOS from the manufacturer. Write them...

Our situation on С422 is slightly different and worse than yours.

Can confirm that GC-TitanRidge is working flawlessly OOB on my rig and exact as KGP point out in earlier posts using SSDT-X299-TB3HP-TTR.aml.
The only hiccup for me is that I need to eject connected THB and USB-C-disks before sleep otherwise my rig will wake up to a black screen.
As I understand this is a "normal" behaviour for everybody with a connected GC-Titan ridge card.

@augustopaulo, I rather think the opposite!

This adaptor or your current configuration might be a unique opportunity to shed new light onto the entire TB Hackintosh story.. we just don't know yet why and in which way. The only thing I would like to ask you: please never return it to the manufacturer until we deeply investigated cause and effects of your recent discovery..

Generally I don't think that it is a good idea to mix things between Windows and macOS.. Don't forget that we are dealing with UEFI.. thus specific settings under some certain operating system might affect the adopters functionality in the other operating system. Me myself many times I even reached to a situation where the removal and replugging of the adopter was the only possibility to make the adopter work again under any system.

Also don't be scared that the adopter is not fully functional and reveals errors.. While we might miss some of your implementations and functionalities you might miss some of our implementations and functionalities.. The fusion and merge of our different implementations, results, discoveries, and experiences might lead to some breakthrough though.. We have to wait and see..

Thus please, once more don't request any RMA for the adopter. It is a 50$ investment that could change many things! I rather encourage you to purchase a second adopter to see whether or not you would be able to replicate the same effects with an else unchanged system configuration.

I also wanted to bring my experience because I currently have the hotplug working properly without using strange tricks.
Gigabyte recently released an BIOS update for the Z370 motherboard, which adds compatibility to the new 9th Gen processors.
I had read earlier that the Z390 chipset would bring greater compatibility with the Thunderbolt connection, and I think this BIOS update brought some of these changes.
In fact now, not only do I have new Thunderbolt settings in the BIOS, but the hotplug also works perfectly with the THB_C header connected!

Looks rather like a miracle... or to say it in simple words... you are the one out of millions not affected by the virus... and nobody knows why..

My goodness... you have a fully implemented local thunderbolt node

and even the thunderbolt bus driver loaded

While usually in TB Hackintosh systems only the IOThunderboltFamily.kext and ThunderboltNHI.kext are active, you also have the AppleThunderboltDPAdapaterFamily.kext, the AppleThunderboltDPOutAdapter.kext, the AppleThunderboltIP.kext  the AppleThunderboltPCIDownAdapter.kext active on your system..

Some TB kexts not marked in red are still missing though also on your system..

Anyway.. no idea how all this is possible without doing anything else then configuring the TB BIOS settings like we all did?

You do not even mention a SSDT, although I do not understand how you obtain without the latter the UPSB, DSB0, DSB1, DSB2, DSB4, NHI0 and XHC2 ACPI implementation..

Hi there and welcome to InsanelyMac.com

Remember that we don't support any of tonymac's tools and guides, you can read the forum's Rules to see why.

I have an AMD RX580 8GB which is ALMOST similar to your GPU.
I use it with a dual display setup on my SkyLake rig and the performance is the way it should be, although with 10.13.4 changes to support the eGPUs I encountered some issued regarding the black screen but here's how I fixed it on my rig:

    1. I set the RX580 as the primary GPU
    2. CSM is disabled in BIOS
    3. I enabled the iGPU as the secondary GPU to enable Hardware Encoding Support
    4. I set the following flags under the "Graphics" Section in the config.plist
        1. InjectATI=True
        2. InjectIntel=True
        3. Added the ig-platform-id according to my iGPU
    5. I don't use WhateverGreen because it's not needed anymore so you can remove it from the Kext folder
    6. Added the following patch to avoid the Black Screen issue since I use the iMac17,1 SMBIOS (you might not even need it)

          Name: com.apple.driver.AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy
          Find: ba05000000
          Replace: ba00000000
          Comment: Prevent AGDP from loading

Remember that your GPU is listed in Apple's site as a compatible model so you might not need to use the InjectATI=True.
About the framebuffer the most compatible framebuffer for RX580 is the Orinoco framebuffer which might also not be necessary in your case.
RadeonDeInit=True is not necessary for macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and newer.

You can also send me your EFI folder for further analysis, you can remove Serial Number, MLB, UUID, Apple and theme folder and any other private data that you have.
If the problem persist you can always make a clean install without using any third party tools to have a 100% vanilla installation and then we can troubleshoot the issue one step at the time.

Here's a detailed guide on how to install macOS High Sierra on your rig and you can find a lot of great tips and tricks.
Just run this app and post the results here and I'll take a look.

SSDT-9.aml, apparently the one and only key for a complete and successful TB Hackintosh implementation...

In order to demonstrate that I am not yet totally insane with my guesses and ideas, let's demonstrate below that SSDT-9.aml seems to be one of possible cornerstone for reaching full Hackintosh functionality on a iMac Pro Hackintosh system.

However, due to the missing method "_ini" implementation (port and device initialisation/configuration) in SSDT-9.aml and likely also due to other missing Apple iMac Pro SSDT/DSDT ACPI implementations, my modified SSDT-9.aml yet fails in implementing the basic system essentials for a complete TB Hackintosh configuration and results in plenty of ACPI errors, Name Space Lookup failures and variable or argument errors during boot..

Nevertheless, few essential things are added when inspecting IOREG or Apple's system report..

While from the TB-kexts used on a real iMacPro only com.apple.driver.AppleThunderboltNHI.kext is active on our Hackintosh systems, SSDT-9.aml so far also loads at least com.apple.iokit.IOThunderboltFamily.kext.

However, com.apple.driver.AppleThunderboltDPAdapterFamily, com.apple.driver.AppleThunderboltIP.kext, com.apple.driver.AppleThunderboltDPInAdapter, com.apple.driver.AppleThunderboltPCIDownAdapter remain without function due to frequent ACPI errors (Namespace Lookup errors, argument and variable errors, etc.) during boot, which are supposedly due to the yet missing Method "_ini" (port/device implementation/configuration) in my most actual SSDT-9.aml distribution and lacking related ACPI implementations...

Most essentially, with my current SSDT-9.aml, also the "RTPC true" entry adds under AppleThuderboltNHIType3..

One might also find the one or other interesting IOREG add-ons under in all other TB PCI device implementations...

Please find linked here my current AML TB implementations for experts only (!!!), i.e. SSDT9.aml, SSDT-DTPG.aml, SSDT-GNVS.aml, SSDT-GG/SG-Methods.aml, SSDT-OSDW.aml and SSDT-SBUS.aml,  I also link once more @TheOffcialGypsy 's most recent iMac Pro dump, where you find the original SSDT-9.aml (BTW.. SSDT-10.aml might be noteworthy in addition)  besides the iMac Pro DSDT and other iMacPro SSDT implementations... linked as well the IOREG save of the original iMac Pro...

@TheOfficialGypsy, any more recent dump under 10.13.6 or 10.14 PB4 available?

I guess, it rapidly might become evident that the complexity of the problem apparently exceeds the capacities and knowledge of one single person... What about active collaborators, here online or maybe also within some small local "insitu" and "hands-on" workgroup in the Berlin/Germany area?

@apfelnico, @nmano, or who ever is interested and is able to join this endeavour?

I really don't know if there is any valid chance for a successful SSDT-9.aml Hackintosh TB implementation.. However, we should give it a try..

    Enjoy and have fun,

    KGP

P.S: SSDT-9.aml of the iMac Pro dump is broken and impossible to be compiled..

One needs to start with the SSDT-9.dsl and add "\_SB.PC01.BR1A.UPSB.AMPE ()" under:

    Scope (\_GPE) { Method (_L32, 0, NotSerialized) // _Lxx: Level-Triggered GPE { If (LNot (OSDW ())) { If (LEqual (\_SB.PC01.BR1A.POC0, One)) { Return (Zero) } Sleep (0x0190) If (LEqual (\_SB.PC01.BR1A.WTLT (), One)) { \_SB.PC01.BR1A.ICMS () } Else { } If (\_SB.PC01.BR1A.UPMB) { Store (Zero, \_SB.PC01.BR1A.UPMB) Sleep (One) } Else { } \_SB.PC01.BR1A.CMPE () } ElseIf (LEqual (\_SB.GGII (0x01030012), One)) { \_SB.SGII (0x01030012, Zero) } Else { \_SB.SGII (0x01030012, One) } \_SB.PC01.BR1A.UPSB.AMPE () } } It took me weeks and months to discover and fix these stupid errors..

For the sake of completeness and for simplicity, I also attach a minimal SSDT-9 hot plug injector AML, i.e. SSDT-9-minimal-hotplug-injector.aml, which pretty does everything for achieving a functional TB and TB XHC USB hot plug workaround on THB-C removed Hackintosh systems..
