  1. UL30VT on 10.6.6

I'm going to try this out. Not super pumped to be giving up my 9ish hours of battery life though. Is there no way to run a script to shut off the nvidia card and use the Intel card? Also, does sleep work properly?
  2. I updated my DV6000 hackintosh to 10.5.8 from 10.5.7 and after having sleep/shutdown problems i swapped for the 5.7 kernel. That fixed my sleep problems, but ever since the update my laptop will always show the power adapter as the power source regardless if it is plugged in or running on the battery. I've tried using the voodoo battery, but that just made it display two battery icons. Help is much appreciated.
  3. I have the XxX 10.5.5 DVD and i have installed it multiple times to my DV6135nr laptop with only one problem. The laptop will enter sleep mode fine, in addition to sleeping when i close the lid. However, when i open the lid or push the power button the laptop seems to turn on (fan spins up/quick launch buttons illuminate) but the power button goes solid for a few seconds before returning to blinking as if still in sleep mode in addition to the screen remaining off. This laptop had no issues when i used the Kalyway 10.5.2 DvD, but i lost my copy and what i thought to be Kalyway 10.5.5 turned out to be the XxX DvD.
  4. Hey everyone, i have the Kalyway 10.5.1 installed on my HP DV6000 laptop -C2D T5500 @ 1.6ghz -2GB DDR2 667 -120GB HD And i really need to have a battery meter. I've installed those replacment powermanagment.packages from here to no avail. It doesnt need to be in the taskbar but i need something.

  6. Yeah, harrison i believe it. Though since i've reformatted my laptop three times this week there no harm in reformatting AGAIN *sigh* Im going to try a boot loader.. Wait.. would Bootcamp work?
  7. Setting the Vista partition to active didnt change anything. Tried both Vista's DVD and Fdisk. I mean i've reformatted the partition and windows doesnt want to install to it even though it is a fresh partition. Would reformatting the entire HD, installing vista, installing kalyway, then installing a separate boot manager work? (such as GRUB or BootIT)
  8. Hey everyone. I did a successful install of Kalyway's Leopard 10.5.1 last night and all went well.. atleast until i tried to get back into Vista. I wanted to have a dual boot on my laptop (OSX/Vista) like i had on my desktop (XP/Vista). After installing leopard i booted to the Vista install DVD to repair Vista's boot loader and be on my way. The installer couldnt find my Vista install.. so i said fine and went to reinstall it only to find that it "cant find a disk that meets the requirements of installation". I have a 120GB hard drive with a 90GB partition for Vista so space is not an issue. It even gives me that error after reformating my vista partition. Help me get Leopard get along with Vista! Thanks ~Higgins
