1. Bravo! Well played, sir. Well played.
2. Had the same thing happen to me, except with Bluetooth instead of WiFi (no WiFi on my Hackintosh).
3. Apple Forums

I'm willing to bet that any problem threads with the Mac App Store on Apple's forums are going to be deleted soon, since it'll just lead to bad press.
4. Tablet War

iPod Touch didn't get a price increase because of the camera at the 8GB level, it was more due to that screen. Even then, what's the point of a Touch with less than 16GB of storage? Apps, music, and video eat up an 8GB model in a real hurry.
5. Momentum scroll on white Macbook

Run the Trackpad update 1.0 that was released about the same time as the Magic Trackpad was released (end of august/beginning of september). That update put momentum scroll back on my early 2008 MacBook Pro (pre-unibody).
6. Speeding up boot

Are you using SSD?
7. Snow Leopard on ECS 945CGT-M/1333 V3.0

Just installed 10.6.3 from a retail DVD using TonyMac's ##### CD to start it up for the initial install, followed by installing the MyHack installer. Loads just fine, the only thing is using the IONetworkingFamily.kext installed with MyHack (to /extras/extensions) causes the on-board realtek 8039/8101 to not recognize any networks. Haven't tried 64-bit mode yet, doubtful it'll work since this is a 945 board with a 32-bit memory controller, but worst case scenario is I pop his hard drive out and edit the "arch=x86_64" line out of the boot plist. Also, I'm willing to bet that this HDA controller won't work without VoodooHDA, but being he's using an external M-Audio device, I'm not concerned about this working or not. The only major difference I notice between this system (PDC e5300, 2 GiB RAM, ECS 945 GCT-M/1333, GeForce 7600GS PCI-e) and my system (C2D e8400, 4 GiB RAM, Gigabyte EP43-DS3L, GeForce 8600 GTS PCI-e) is that the graphics enabler actually works on his system versus requiring an EFI string on mine. Otherwise, both are simple and straight-forward installs when using the #####/MyHack method on vanilla kernels.
8. Your link for the boot-132 CD is dead. Do you still have the ISO?
9. Should Apple buy a Linux distro?

The problem with switching to a Linux kernel from Mach kernel is that it then limits Apple to what it can and cannot do with the operating system software.
10. Has anyone recieved theirs yet?

Bought mine at Microcenter today for $25. I haven't installed it on a real Mac yet, but I'm going to give it a try on this Hack.
11. ideneb 1.3 on ECS 945GCT-M/1333 - Problems Installing

I don't have my internal audio, but that's not a major issue as i have a Griffin iMic for audio in and a Griffin Firewave for audio out. I'm running a Vanilla 10.5.7, and no issues. Even my parallel ATA is working just fine, and the realtek 8101 network card worked OOB with the vanilla install (but not iDeneb, Kalyway, or JaS for that matter).
12. Stigma STAC9221 No Sound

Hi, probably a day late and a dollar short, but I used the VoodooHDA kext from over at Voodoo Projects to at least get working left/right with automatic headphone detection. If you're still messing with it, it's worth a try.
13. Direct X for MacOSX

well, that explains why cider games are usually lousy when compared to playing the game on windows.

I wish you would have private messaged me about this, I woul have gotten you a reply much sooner. I never got that ROM from him but I think Gotoh might have it.
