  1. AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

What about the mic doesn't work? A headset with a mic seems to work on mine correctly with both front and back ports.
  2. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Does anyone have functioning brightness control on 10.13 using the AppleBacklightInjector kext?
  3. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Now for 10.13, I just need the patched kexts from the 10.12 L download correct?
  4. Yeah I've managed to get VoodooHDA working, it would be nice if AppleHDA with AppleALC could be used. It works with the line-out ports and such, just not the internal speaker.
  5. Does anyone have the internal speaker working?
  6. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Does anyone here have the backlight working after sleep on 10.12.6? I recall that it worked fine on 10.12.4 or 10.12.5, but after doing a clean install of 10.12.6, the backlight stays off after a resume from sleep, brightness slider doesn't appear either. The DSDT is patched according to the guide with the IntelBacklight kext present.
  7. Clover General discussion

Clover r4097 freezes at the "testing hardware" phase during load on laptops with a Broadcom 440x ethernet chip. If I disable that in the BIOS, Clover loads fine. It appears that this issue affects all 2.3k builds. The log is from a Dell Inspiron 1520 with Clover r4097, but the same issue occurs on a Latitude D520 with the same ethernet chip. The last lines of the log are as follows: 40:915 0:123 === [ GetMacAddress ] ===================================== 49:954 9:038 get legacy LAN MAC, 1 card found cloverlog_broadcom440.txt
  8. Does anyone have a list of the patches that were applied to create the DSDT for the 755 attached to the first post?
  9. Driver for LSI MegaRAID SAS family

I have a Dell PowerEdge 2900 equipped with a PERC 5/i RAID card and I can't seem to get it to load in El Cap. I see the message "firmware fault" during boot even though its flashed with LSI firmware. I do have an OS X installation running off of a USB HDD and it doesn't detect the card either due to the same firmware fault issue. It doesn't matter if it is using the installer package or the kext being injected by Clover. Any ideas?
  10. I have a HP workstation xw6200 fitted with dual Intel Xeon "Nocona" processors. They are 64-bit and can run Snow Leopard and Lion in 64-bit kernel mode. However, due to the age and lack of SSSE3, I have to use legacy/AMD kernels. Now with Mountain Lion or anything newer, no kernel is able to successfully boot the machine, possibly due to the lack of LAHF/SAHF and/or other instructions. Nocona supports SSE2, SSE3 and NX just fine. Has there been any development of kernels that are capable of running such old hardware? The furthest I can possibly get is shortly after boot with a corecrypto invalid opcode panic using sinetek's 10.8.5 kernel. Other kernels simply hit an invalid opcode 9E (SAHF instruction) over and over.
