  3. Trade/sell Hp dv9999us

I bought this laptop when my last one burned up.So i was just in a rush for getting a laptop didnt really look for what i wanted. Now its been about 4 months i guess still under hp warrenty, still have the box. Im not really completly sure on what i want to trade it for im looking for a netbook or a 14.1-10" laptop. only laptop i would like is a sony, dell, or hp. new with some pretty decent stuff. The one item im really looking for is a leveno s10 ideapad. To let you know this computer isnt really "mac friendly" i have windows 7 and vista on it now. My item specs Hp dv9999us model Turion X2 dual-core TL-60 2.0GHz 17" diagonal widescreen WXGA+ (1440 x 900),with mic/webcam 250gb SATA Hard drive 4gb RAM 5-in-1 memory card reader Nvidia 7150m shared memory 802.11g Wifi, lan, modem DVD+-RW with lightscribe Also as i said above i have Windows vista home premium installed along with windows 7. If you want me to format i can do. Also i have made recovery discs if needed. All still in perfect condition im asking $600-700. I Paid $800. its a great laptop its just way to big for me id rather have a net book or smaller laptop. Need any more specs or have any questions just message me or email me at Tyler9216@yahoo.com .
  4. iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 Released!

In the thread u said it had the 5007eg wireless driver. I have been trying to get mine working read every forum and havent came up with anything can you post the driver or tell me where its from and if it works. It would help alot i havent had any success with leopard with my specs and wireless is one of the big things i need. Also your dvd looks great i might download it tonight does it have mcp67 support when booting the dvd? Thanks and keep up the good work
  5. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

  6. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

Thanks ill try it later i finally got it working its about time wow! thanks so much for your support. Ill get all the other little things working but i wouldnt have gotten it even installed. 7. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

UPDATE: I found the problem i was booting with "-v idlehalt=0" and i took out the -v and it works i cant boot without idlehalt=0 but i researched that and i guess i need it im going to add it into the boot plist so i wont have 2 enter it all the time. Booting with idlehalt thought causes most of my temp problems it makes it run way hotter. Also i installed the arthos or whatever it is 5007rg driver which is the card i have and it doesnt work do i need to insert my dev id into the plist?
  8. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

I just reinstalled with voodoo and the things you told me to check im going to get a driver for the graphics see if that will fix it i know it wont have qe/ci but ive researched and there is a way to get full res with a driver so im going to try to try that.
  9. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

Yes i have tried the stage kernel and also the modbin or something like that and they both dont work only the voodoo is i think. But what i meant with the "-v". if i boot with no commands it goes to the apple grey loading screen and i get a stop sign and i have to reboot. But if i boot with the -v command i am able to boot up into leopard. thats the onlyway im able to get to the desktop is by doing -v Also i know the 7150m isnt supported im fine without qe/ci right now hopefully there will be support one day.
  10. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

FINALLY!! wow great job its finally working after using about 200 distros. I actually saw the HDD and got to erase it. Now i started to install and i havent installed leopard on this laptop yet so i didnt know what to click im use to my old laptop. Can you help with what you think i should install My specs -Hp dv9000- AMD turion x2 64 7150m graphics 250gb hard drive 4gb ram I clicked on the voodoo kernel and i remember people saying the turion isnt supported in the voodoo kernel so what can i install. I ended up installing and i got the grey apple loading screen(reallyy slow)then a stop sign popped up.So this is why im asking you what you think i should install EDIT:With voodoo kernel installed i can boot into it but only with "-v" a reg. boot gives me the stop sign. is there anyway to boot with normal mode we all know verbose mode isnt to pretty. Also my system runs wayyyyy hot i have seen cpu apps and stuff but what would you prefer for a AMD turion.

    http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry891170 What about that driver?
  12. NVIDIA Graphics Update

I have a 7150m shared memory graphics card if i inserted my dev id in would it work? People have tried getting the 7150m working and nothing this would be great if it did
  13. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2

Ok BlackCH im back i just tried your second mkext and i saw the mcp67 driver load in verbose mode it was by medevil or something like that but im guessing that one doesnt work for my drive cause it kept saying still waiting on device root or something like that i forgot anyways i took a pic just incase http://i39.tinypic.com/2eal0td.jpg Sorry for the bad pic couldnt figure out how to turn the flash off(not my camera)but now i do know i need to clean my computer screen haha. If you need another pic ill take another one but if you can see in it it says"found 1 items" does that mean it found my HDD finally? I think you got somewhere
  14. XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.v2
