  1. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

I wasn't sure what to call the backtrace messages on boot, but as other have these too (and OS X works fine), it's not a kernel panic & I was simply incorrect with my wording. I still wonder what causes my install to hang after loading AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext though. EDIT: The alternative framebuffer kext works! Native res, full QE/CI support,... I should've tried this sooner.
  2. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Medion lappy (Core i3 350M, 8GB 1066MHz DDR3, Nvidia 310M (Optimus)). I just replaced AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext patched with giofrida's patcher by the one (SingleLink LW1 LCD-only) included with the rest of the kexts and now it simply hangs after the first kernel panic. I'll try the reuploaded kexts. EDIT: The kext I patched did not include Info.plist, that's why it didn't show up in System Information. However, if I use one of the prepatched kexts, the system simply hangs after the first kernel panic. I can only boot to OS X when AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext is not present/not loaded.
  3. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

2nd attempt, fresh install of 10.9 (AppStore) with the following options: - Chimera 2.2.1 - ElliottForceLegacyRTC - ev0reboot - FaceSMC 5.3.820 - NullCPUPowerManagement - ApplePS2Controller MacBook 6,1 smbios.plist, GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Patched AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext with Intel HD Graphics Patcher 1.5.1 and modified kexts by giofrida (installed with KextUtility). After the first reboot: A kernel panic is caused by AppleIntelHDGraphics, with IOPCIFamily and IOGraphicsFamily in backtrace. After a while though, OS X starts through. Resolution is still limited to 1024x768, but QE/CI seems to be enabled (top bar is transparent). AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext is loaded, but AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext is not. Screen looks fine, unless you start dragging windows around, then artefacts occur. Taking a screenshot is also impossible, they end up corrupted.

Great work, GhostRaider! I do seem to be getting a kernel panic though (QE/CI package on 10.9)
  5. Osx on ASUS EeePc 1101HA ?

I have an 1101HA too, and I'd like to install OSx86 on it. I don't care if it's Leopard or Snowy, but I want to get it working. I also don't care the Intel GMA500 is not supported at the moment, I can live without effects. But it must be possible to install and boot into a working OSX enviroment !!
  6. Tap = click doesn't work :(

A few weeks ago, I installed iAtkos v7, with a lot of custom settings. I wrote those working settings down on a paper, so it would be easy to use when a reinstall was neccessary. This morning I accidentially installed Ubuntu over OS X, so OS X was gone. I have fixed all that stuff, and installed OS X again, on a seperate partition. I used exactly the same settings as with my first install (of course, those were the only working). The problem is: tapping on the TouchPad of my laptop doesn't work anymore, but it certainly did with my first install ! I have used exactly the same kexts, but it doesn't work, and it's really annoying. I am using the Voodoo PS/2 kext. The Voodoo PS/2 + TrackPad kext freezes my system, and the Apple PS/2 won't detect my keyboard or mouse. What can I do ? How is such thing possible ?
  7. Removing the Leopard Dual Boot Loader

Does nobody has an answer ?
  8. Removing the Leopard Dual Boot Loader

OK, but I think I will have a problem, then, because the OS X Bootloader automatically boots the first partition with Vista. I have to select the MAC partition manually, but if I don't get the choice it will probably boot Vista. I need to configure the OS X Bootloader to load MacOS X from the second partition, with OS X, whitout asking. Is that possible ?
  9. I have Vista Ultimate and Leopard 10.5.2 (Leo4all v3) I can boot MacOS X with the Vista Bootloader. When I select Mac OS X in the Vista Bootloader, it comes to the Darwin screen, but then it asks to select wich OS I want to boot. I want to get rid of the Leopard Bootloader asking me wich OS to boot, because I have already selected OS X. Do you get what I mean ? In Tiger, you had to edit the configuration file: 'com.apple.boot.plist' but I can't find it in Leopard... Thanks, Peter
  10. [MSI K8T800 FSR] Unable to find driver for platform "ACPI"

OK, I tried the JaS AMD - Intel release, but it gives the same error. I also tried updating the BIOS. Now I'm downloading the Uphuck release, but does it have support for AMD ? Can someone help me ?
  11. [MSI K8T800 FSR] Unable to find driver for platform "ACPI"

OK, I have tried with the following boot options, but none of them worked: platform=X86PC|ACPI -v -x Does anyone have an idea ? Following to this URL, my motherboard should work with my DVD: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph....6#Motherboards There are people who got it working, can they help me ?
  12. I got the JaS 10.4.6 DVD release, and it gives a kernel panic if I want to boot OS X from the Install DVD. Following the wiki, my motherboard & CPU are supported. These are my specs: - MSI K8T800 Neo FSR motherboard with VIA chipset - SATA hard disk drive - ATI Radeon 7000 - NEC DVD-RW drive IDE - AMD Sempron 2800+ 1.61GHz I really love OS X, could anyone help me ?
