  1. I am thinking of going back to dual booting with High Sierra. I had a fairly stable system with Sierra, but I can't find the download. I tried last night to install High Sierra but I could never get it to complete the install process. I must have had it install 5-6 times before I gave up. I don't know if I wasn't using the right boot flags, or if my BIOS wasn't quite right, or if I was missing a important kext, or if the config.plist was not right on the EFI portion of my USB drive. I don't know where I am stuck, but I am stuck. Maybe my clover bootloader settings were not right. I am open to anything at this point. So, if anyone here is on a Z800 and has it figured out for High Sierra, I would love to hear what's up.

[GUIDE] HP Z800 Hackintosh macOS Sierra 10.12.1

I am not saying this is how to fix your issue. I had an issue once and this fixed it. Screenshots help your cause. On the clover screen that you boot with, there should be a gear icon. click it. among all of the options, which you can click one at a time, will have one with SMBIOS. what does it say? you can alter what it says by clicking it or pressing enter once it is selected and deleting whatever it choose and changing it to what it should be. you need to read up on the clover wiki and the clover configurator wiki. it will help. note that hitting space bar won't show you this option so you will need mouse access, i think, to do this.

Do you have all of the kexts listed and are they all in the right place? ("10.12" OR "other" folder in EFI/clover/kexts) Also, before you boot, what SMBIOS version does clover try to use when booting? one of the symbols below on the clover screen allows you to look at the settings and look for SMBIOS. It should say "Mac Pro 5,1" or "MacPro 5,1" If it uses something different, that might cause an issue.

[GUIDE] HP Z800 Hackintosh macOS Sierra 10.12.1

I have a guide on Reddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/6z2mc2/setting_up_the_hp_z800_workstation_a_work_in/ Try it and see how it works for you. There are some parts it doesn't cover in depth, such as the config.plist specific settings. However, if you follow the imessage guides, that will help some of that. Look at the steps I have listed and see how that deviates from what you did.
  5. Hey Rockey and everyone: I am trying to reinstall HS and I got past all of the install points and Now I am to the desktop. Which of the posts has the dsdt.aml, the kexts, and the config.plist you all use? Did you all have any issues upgrading to 10.13.3 ? Any tips or hints or anything? Do you all use web drivers for your cards or what? Just wondering.
  6. I am going to try this in the next day or two. Where does that dsdt file go? Also, since I have a Quadro 4000 for a graphics card, my graphics info changes. I also have a different RAM setup as you I see.
