  1. Hi all, I think am lucky with OSX86. My laptop is not an expensive product, Lenovo 400 (1 Gb RAM) 4 months ago I installed Tiger Kalyway 10.4.8, updated to Koolkal 10.4.10, had no problem but the plug in- plug out the power to run the fan. I install DCPU manager v5 to get more speed and succeeded (rated 90 in xbench), without DCPU manager I only got 54. Yesterday I installed Leo4all v2 on my third partition (1st XP, 2nd Tiger), and succesfull without interfering the installation (except of course selecting language and creating account). I can't use my Tiger anymore, if I try to boot from Tiger then there will come up a gray neat screen saying in many language "You must restart your computer now", or something like that. So again, I think I am lucky again with OSX86. Minor problem: my leo is slow, xbench 34, fan and battery status still a problem, no audio input (not a matter). Other than that, no problem. If any of you guys can suggest me something, please lend a hand: 1. is there a DCPU manager for leo? 2. should i still plug in-plug out to run the fan? 3. how do i get battery status? (worries me to not knowing my power status) 4. how to speed up? more RAM? or simply find DCPU manager or equivalent? Good luck to you all guys who still try to make it works. regards

  3. Heat problem when plugged in

problem solved (in an odd way) thanks to devilhood (?) http://forum.softpedia.com/index.php?showt...p;#entry3633232 as easy as plug out and in briefly the ac adaptor. as for the sleep and wake fix in that posting, it doesn't work, i thought it was because my temperature reading application, but it wasn't. can't figure out why. and it kills my airport anyway. still hope there is a solution for the sleep function. cheers
  4. Hi, I'm grateful to you all guys with this hackintosh thing. Cool! I am running 10.4.10 (koolkal, intel combo update). I have no complain up until now, some works, some don't, will be fixed sooner or later I believe. The only problem I concern with is the heat, fan doesn't work when using AC adapter, but no problem when running on batteries. Well it always display battery icon even when it using AC adapter, so there must be something with the power management control. Tried some methods, didn't try them all since they keep sending to my back up files. Any of you guys have the same problem? Info will be appreciated. O btw, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not: Whenever I had a crash with some patch, I didn't go to the terminal prior booting (cause I'm a dumb with text based command), so I just go to my XP, then to my osx86 disk, then copy the whole back up folder, paste them on the osx86 system. Restart. Presto, back to where I wanna be. For me it's easier than facing the command lines in black screen :-) ---------------- Lenovo 3000 G400 Dual Core 1.73s - Both doing their job RAM 1Ghz - read 200Mhz, does it matter? Intel Chipset 943 GML - Well, the machine is running. Graphic 950 GMA - 64 Mb Flawless Hardisk Sata 120Gb - no problem Broadcom 4311 - Working, the softkey too, using it everyday for interneting ad hoc to the other XP lappy Realtek High Definition Audio (ALC861VD) using AppleAzaliaAudio.kext Sound out - Loud and clear Sound in - hmm, not needed yet anyway Bluetooth Dongle - Happy with it Motorola Modem - err, never needed it since last year Ethernet - nobody to hook up with.
