  1. I have the same problem as Joeandmat, when i try to turn the airport on via networkselector i get some kind of error and it just scrolls really fast saying same thing over and over again. I can boot normally without problem though. Keep up the good work!
  2. Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet

    Thanks for your help mattiL, when I type kextstat in terminal i get the followin: 71 1 0x2118d000 0x16000 0x15000 com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily (1.6.0) <7 6 5 4 2> But I cant find com.apple.driver.AppleIntel8254XEthernet, maybe I've deleted it by mistake?
  3. Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet

No I can't see any Ethernet connection, the only thing thats there is a "Firewire Connection". : /
  4. Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet

Strange... So you dont added any new connection or needed to setup a connection by typing in IP-adresses and stuff?
  5. I have an Thinkpad R61 and just got the graphics to work on it (happy!), so now im moving forward to the ethernet bit. From what i've read there shouldnt be much trouble with the integrated ethernet cards there, but i cant seem to get mine working... It's an Intel PRO/1000 card and when i connect the cable to it, nothing happens. I'm really noobish and i dont know much about Mac so i would really appreciate some help. Thanks!
  6. So, I decided to get kalyway to work on my Lenovo Thinkpad R61 yesterday. I tried lots of different install methods but finally it was up and running. Here's how I did (for you who wants to know); 1. Burned with imgburn at slowest speed. 2. Typed "vanilla" after F8 when it booted. 3. Installed with MBR, but no graphic drivers (didnt work when I selected one). 4. Restared but on bootscreen It freezes. so I need to type "-x" before boot. And here I am! The internet is not working, the audio isn't and I can't change resolution (other than 1024x768). So here is a little info about my hardware on the laptop: Graphics: Intel (0x8086). Audio: 0x17AA20AC Ethernet: Just says "Firewire"... EDIT: Found some more now, the name of the card is "Intel GMA X3100", the audio runs with the codec "AD1984HD" and the Wireless NIC is "ThinkPad 11a/b/g". I would really appreciate some help! Thanks.
  7. Okay, I have now tried to install with MBR and now I get to the welcome screen with the apple logo and the round thingy spinning in a circle. But then it just freezez. I read somewhere that not chosing any video drivers at all would fix this problem, well I've tried both the Nvidia laptop driver and none at all but i get the same problem. Would really appreciate some help here! Thanks.
  8. Beppi, im having the exact same problem as you now. I got rid of the warning sign by chosing SSE2 in customize options, but now when I reboot all I get is a blinking underscore. Im going to try one last time with MBR now, I'll post later on how it went.
  9. Tried to burn a new cd with imgburn at slowest speed, and now it works I have partitioned the whole HDD and chose GUID. BUT! At the end of the install a yellow exclamation mark shows up just like so many other people got here, what's the problem? I'm trying to install it on a Lenovo Thinkpad R61.
  10. I have just burned the kalyway installation disc. It boots perfectly but when i press "enter" at the first bootscreen its loads for a few secs but then nothing happens. It just says the same thing again. Searched the forums a lot but haven't seen anyone with this problem.
