what kind of work did you do to get QE/CI for the VAIO laptop?

my video BIOS dump, f11 330M, using latest AIDA64 beta. the file extension is .dmp, not .rom. I don't know why. vgabios.zip

will the monitor serial # help?

@ Phantom Thief Dark Mousy The Boot CD works fine with my VAIO F (VPCF11JFX/:( and the 10.6.3 retail DVD. Both machines are very similar. I get 1280 X 1024 as resolution. What's the kext used for display/graphics? @ Mammoth Are you posting the instruction for dual boot & separate partition for Chameleon soon? Phantom's boot CD works fine and I'd like to setup a dual boot system. An user (Extraspeed) used voodoohda for the ALC275 audio, I'm still trying to get the audio. Also, I think the "real" ethernet controller in our laptops is 88E8057, even though in sony's support site the driver is listed as 88E8040. You mentioned about getting wifi using firewire, are you gonna post that anytime soon?

how did you manage to get full support for the gt330m graphics?

enough information to put a full tutorial on this model? the guy PlumberGr was talking about is testing SL on a HP Dv7t and a VAIO F, hope he will have more success. as for audio, my VAIO F has Realtek ALC275.

Does any of you guys have the "About This Mac" window working? Everytime I open it, it crashes and nothing happens. Maybe video kexts related? another observation: I have 6GB (4+2), but it only recognizes the 2GB stick... So still no support for 330M?

@ giò49 did you follow this guide and updated to 10.6.3? if not, what method did you use to install SL on the vaio F? could you please share the instructions here? do you have the same wifi card (Atheros AR9287) or a different one?

It would be a good idea to have a vanilla install on VAIO F, many HP laptops with i7 can do vanilla. I just have a hard time(no clue whatsoever) finding all the necessary kexts that are needed for the VAIO F. also, there's no update on kexts for the NVIDIA 330M now that the new macbooks use a slightly different 330M. as for the wifi card, any ideas on the Atheros AR9287? I think I'm gonna replace it with a Dell 1520.

Does anybody know what driver/kext works with the GeForce GT 330M 1GB? I have that graphic card in my VAIO F (F1). GPU: GT216 based, 40 nm Device ID: 10DE-0A29
