  1. Hi everyone, I installed 10.6.3 updated to 10.6.6. Everything is working except sound and touchpad. I've tried many different kexts but none are working. Can anyone help me? TIA! I got both sound and touchpad working. Using VoodoPS2Controller.kext and VoodooHDA.kext did the trick.

    Q6600 DSDT

Thank you for the guidance. I successfully extracted and patched the DSDT and installed the new RC5. My sleep function is broken now. When I put it to sleep and resume, the computer restarts. Do I have to fix something in the _WAK?

    Q6600 DSDT

Thanks for the reply! I am using a separate partition for my bootloader. How would I install RC5 on to there? Do I just use the boot file from RC5?

    Q6600 DSDT

Hi, I am using a DSDT that is perfect for my system: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L GeForce 8600GT 4 GB DDR2 800 Sleep, shutdown, and restart works great, HDA works, basically EVERYTHING works, but I noticed the DSDT was made for C2D processors. I'm fairly new to editing DSDT files, I've enabled 4 cores, but my sleep broke. Can someone help me out? Here is my DSDT file. Thank you! DSDT.aml.zip

    Keyboard doesn't work

I've recently installed iDeneb v1.3 on my computer and everything worked out of the box except the keyboard. I'm typing on a USB keyboard right now, but I would like to get my PS/2 working. My computer specs are: Intel C2Q Q600 @ 2.40 4GB GSKILL RAM Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT (Soon to be replaced with ATi Radeon HD 4780) Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L 120GB Seagate Barracuda HDD SATA (Vista) 160GB Seagate HDD ATA (OSX) Pioneer DVR-109 Burner MX Revolution mouse (Which is plugged into USB and SteerMouse to manage my buttons) Logitech Media Keyboard (PS/2 -- This is the one I want to get working.) During Installation I chose the following options on the Customization screen. ALC888 ICHx fix JMicronFix AppleSMBIOS 800 NVInject 256 **I'm also going to install OSX on my Lenovo IdeaPad S10 after this.**

KALYWAY 10.5.1 DVD release (the official)

I have a few problems that I've spent endless nights trying to solve. First of all, I'd like to thank kaly for the release; this one is the best release I've used...Greatly appreciated. Before I post my problems, I'll put up my system specs. Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop CPU: Intel Core Duo T2350 @ 1.86 Chipset: Intel 945GM rev. 03 RAM: 2048 MB Graphics: Intel GMA 950 Ok, with that all aside, I having problems with my sleep functions. When ever the laptop goes to sleep, I cant seem to bring it back out and I would have to power off and then power back on. Also, I can't seem to get both cores to work. This is what happens: When I have both cores on, it would boot, then restart over and over again. I've heard of the endless reboot loop but after rebooting a few times, it goes into the desktop. Then I start to run some applications and I realized that the computer is running a bit sluggish, YouTube videos are laggy, sound is choppy, special graphics (Such as the genie effect on the dock.) freaks out. So I decided maybe if i turned one of the cores off from BIOS maybe the system would work a little better...and it did. My question is, how do I get both of these things to work? Help is much appreciated.
  11. I followed these steps and I can't get Leopard to boot at all. I always get the 'b0 error'. I searched all over the net to fix it but I couldn't find a solution.
