  1. Thanks for the driver Zenith, sound is smooth, just having one problem.. There's a delay of around 200-500 ms from the sound coming from the guest to the host. Is this due to the mentioned buffering of the output stream? In that case I guess there's nothing which can be done. I'm using the latest 1.0.3 driver, VMware ws 7.1.3, i7 950 - Win 7
  2. I found the only way to get working QE/CI on the 8400M (Should work for 8600M) was to install the full graphics update from http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/appl...csupdate10.html using pacifist, the black and white thing i believe was due to incompatibilities between some of the old and new files, possibly the OpenGL framework, anyway working now.. albeit with the older kexts
  3. Has anyone got CI/QE working on the m1330 or 8400M in 10.5.5 yet? when i reinstall the old geforce kexts i get some weird black and white lines fill the screen making it impossible to do anything.. Suggestions? -Rid
  4. Has anyone successfully found a way of connecting a WM6.1 device to OS X? I just get USB errors, the device connects then pretty much disconnects instantaneously in a continuous cycle. Here are the errors: 8/7/08 21:20:07 Monitor: usb: dealWithDevice: unable to set the configuration 8/7/08 21:20:12 Monitor: usb: dealWithDevice: unable to create plugin. ret = e00002be, iodev = 0xb02c3608
  5. Anyone tried the speedstep kext with the m1330?
  6. Here is the solution: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=107985
  7. Anyone else having problems with sleep on 9.2.2 vanilla kernel? Mine comes out of sleep fine then i get the grey restart screen after about 10 seconds
  8. Doesn't seem to work on my m1330, [root@Hackintosh:~]# hdapm disk0 max disk0: SAMSUNG HM160HI Setting APM level to 0xfe: FAILED: APM not supported [root@Hackintosh:~]# mine doesn't seem to click that much anyway..
  9. yeah those just tell you the min & max cpu freq mine is the same.. for testing cpu to confim speed step i used Xbench (free) and tried the cpu test at different mHz and it shows big differences, try it out.. also yes i get unknown type as the first line on sysctl

  11. So with this, you cannot use the trackpad to double click and drag?
  12. Works here, just followed the steps of the guide, when its working you should see something like: kern.cputhrottle_curfreq: 800 kern.cputhrottle_verbose: 1 kern.cputhrottle_freqs: 800 1200 1600 2000 2001 when you do sysctl -a | grep cpu, is the speedstep.app actually doing anything? also which kernel are you using mine is: [rid@Hackintosh:~]$ uname -a Darwin Hackintosh 9.2.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Thu Feb 14 17:30:26 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 [rid@Hackintosh:~]$
  13. You should still be able to update, they use the source from the original kernel so its completely compatible
