  1. As we know, Apple decided to abandon their practice of using Intel graphics chipsets on low-end computers, such as MacBook 13.3 inch. As a result, Apple never developed (or at least didn't release) the driver for the Intel 4 Series Graphics Family. So there would be no driver for Intel 4500 until Apple releases one. Then a question arises. Can't someone, or a group of hackers, develop the driver for 4500? Most of the IBM-compatible laptops being shipped today are equipped with Intel 4500 HD, which means a lot of Hackintosh users are probably using 4500. Is it that hackers don't want to make one or that it's impossible to make? Cheers
  2. I own GeForce 7300LE (64 MB RAM, 256 MB shared), which worked perfectly under Kalyway 10.5.1. Also, its QE and CI were both working. I just upgraded to 10.5.3 using Kalyway's 10.5.3 Combo Update. Since then, it seems that my 7300LE's QE and CI do not work anymore. (Core Image is "Software", and Quartz Extreme is "Not Supported".) I upgraded to 10.5.4 using Apple Software Update, but nothing has changed. (10.5.4 is just a minor upgrade.) I tried many things. I tried NVinject 1.5 and 2.0, and even modified the GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext files using nano on Terminal. Does anyone know how to have QE and CI working with 7300LE (VRAM 64MB) under 10.5.3 or 10.5.4?

    3G iPhone Confirmed For WWDC

but in terms of technology, CDMA is more advanced than GSM, isn't it? I know. I also HATE Qualcomm for forcing cell-phone makers and service providers pay expensive loyalty, thereby making services expensive and restricting service options.

    Realtek RTL8187(L)

I sent an e-mail to Realtek for RTL8187L issue in Leopard, and they gave me a reply in just two days! Here's the reply from Realtek: Dear Sir, Thanks for your e-mail. Sorry for your inconvenience. But, we didn't support MAC OSX 10.5 at current stage. We will keep our best to release RTL8187L MAC OSX 10.5 driver as soon as possible. The release schedule is end of February. Best regards, Jason It looks like they will release a driver for Leopard, but we have to wait for another whole month!
