  1. Hi trikks, you are great and many thanks for this tutorial!! I, however don't have access to any mac machine and therefore cannot install Leopard in this way. Is it possible for you to make a disc-clone of your disc after installation and put it on a torrent or something, because if we have the same system, it should work by just copying the disc image with some program, right? So that I just use a program for disc-imaging and copy your disc-image over mine, having everything perfectly installed. Please let me know if this is possible! I would be more than greatful! All best and keep up the good work!
  2. Please send me your boot cd - email: !REMOVED! (Security Reasons) Great tutorial, just what I need!! You are the best.. EDIT: Thank you very much boinkytwo!
  3. TSC sync XNU patch

Hey guys..this is amaziiiiiiing!! Thanks to all of you who made this possible!! Well I do have on little problem...I have Inspiron 6400/e1505 with gma950 and have Leopard 10.5.2 installed with the KERNEL_9.2_SPEEDSTEP selected as my kernel in the kalyway 10.5.2 DVD setup...I checked my kernel in terminal and it says it IS 9.2.0 The problem is, if I try to change my mach_kernel with the 9.2 from the beginning of this topic, my computer won't boot at all... I do know how to swap kexts and repair permissions so there must be something else... PLEASE help me, because everything else works brilliant... Many thanks in advance for all your answers, cheers EDIT: I finally made it - this time the 9.2.0 kernel worked so I have 2 coreeees yeah:) Thank you guys for this really! All best..
  4. QE/CI Lost on 10.5.5 upgrade, gma 950

Anyone pleasee? Id me more than grateful...
  5. QE/CI Lost on 10.5.5 upgrade, gma 950

Thanks for replying gorq. Why nvinstaller v.52? Isn't that for nVidia cards...I have Intel GMA 950 in Inspiron 6400 e1505? And also the nvinstaller needs some kexts if I understand correctly? Any other ideas?
  6. Hi guys, Recently I've upgraded my kalyway 10.5.2 to 10.5.5 using the kalyway 10.5.5 combo update and pre and post patches. The thing is, that in post-patch from bike-town, there is no option for gma950 only gma900. It did upgrade sucessfully and it works even better, but and I lost QE/CI support and I am desperate, because I can't watch movies anymore, I can't use logic 8 and all the stuff I love...The good thing however about 10.5.5 is that I can use dual-core with TSC sync patch... I searched the forums thouroughly but haven't found a solution - I always found it till now. This is why I am writing this... I reformated my computer 14 times in the past few days, using different version and kexts but nothing helped. So please, if someone knows how can I get my qe/ci on 10.5.5 back, please write it here - I am sure it will help lots of other people... Many thanks in advance.. Mark
