    High Sierra Random Freezes

Hi everyone, Still getting this error, searching a lot and still no clue. If anyone has even a slight advice on how to search what's wrong. The logs are giving me nothing. Updating my config.plist, Drivers and Kext in first comment. Also adding DarwinDumper if anyone want to check it. System and User Reports are empty. System log in logs_updated looks even more generic. The only thing that pop my eyes are: Will try now a extensive test on Windows, make even more sure if it's not GPU Hardware related. Thanks in advance, any clue would be great. Gustavo

    High Sierra Random Freezes

Hi Bidero, thanks for your input! At some point I also remember having this screen mirroring log. I don't know if it's gone because I'm only using one monitor now (even thou it was extended, not mirrered). Will try your memory settings. My memory is 3000Mhz, but I'm using it as default 2133 without OC, so the chances of a problem could be lower. Will report back in a while. EDIT: I don't use XMP profiles. I set memory frequency to 2000 but still freezes.
  4. Hi everyone, First, thanks for your support! Been searching this for a while and tried already several measures. I'm really posting here as my last resource as I like to dig till the end before anything. I'm back to hackintoshing since Yosemite, and usually I'm able to get a stable system after some digging and searching, but now I get random freezes after High Sierra Update (clean install). It just freezes the screen, no beach ball, no black screen. I have keepsyms=1 and debug=0x100 on boot arguments, maybe that's why it doesn't restart. Just a guess. I made again a clean 10.13.6 install and installed very few apps (almost none) and a Video Editing software to make tests and see if it was still freezing. After some renders, freezed again. Windows look OK. Normal browsing on Mac looks OK too, but the machine is intended to do some heavy work (as already did since 2016, the system was very stable apart some specific issues I was able to handle). After initial struggle I made another clean install mostly following this guide, still have my system freezing. My Hardware: MoBo: Asus x99 Deluxe II. Last BIOS updated and patched. Processor: Intel i7 5930k GPU: NVidia 1080TI Aorus OC 11GB 32GB RAM Checked logs and nothing is popping my eyes, mostly because every time it crashes the logs show something different that doesn't seem related. This last time I saw "systemstats[50]: assertion failed: 17G65: systemstats + 914800 [D1E75C38-62CE-3D77-9ED3-5F6D38EF0676]: 0x40" that could be something. Hopefully someone could point me to some direction. I was a Linux sysadmin until 2010, so I can handle text modes if need even thou I'm a big rusted. config.plist, kexts and drivers64uefi attached. My logs right before crash are also attached (there are 3 there). My crash time was 15:30. I can post preboot logs or anything if need. I just wanted to start small so I don't post unnecessary data. EDIT: Was a bit concerned about Memory, Active seems pretty high sometimes, reaching 45% after closing some apps. Now after a clean reboot and some browsing, it's on 26%. Pressure 8% thou. I have latest AptioMemoryFix. Thanks again!! Gustavo config.plist logs.rtf logs_updated.rtf DarwinDumper_3.0.4_05.08_17.30.08_MacPro6,1_AMI_X64_4630_High Sierra_17G65_gruta.zip

    Clover General discussion

Hi everyone, I am having "scan entries" error on clover, due to a raid 0 error. If I disable devices, it boots normally. After a research, I saw several people disabling scanning and enabling root device individually, but I am not being able to do that. Here is my conf.plist: <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Scan</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <false/> <key>Legacy</key> <false/> <key>Tool</key> <false/> </dict> <key>Custom</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <dict> <key>AddArguments</key> <string>root=UUID=A551A28D-2647-3720-B6C1-A0F8F581654C</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>FullTitle</key> <string>El Macintosh HD</string> <key>Hidden</key> <false/> <key>Ignore</key> <false/> <key>NoCaches</key> <false/> <key>Type</key> <string>OSX</string> <key>Volume</key> <string>El Macintosh HD</string> <key>VolumeType</key> <string>Internal</string> </dict> etc.... I added my boot device with custom entries, but if I plug in my raid he keeps trying to read it and I get stuck on "scan entries" again, even thou I disable it on Scan > Entries. How do I disable all readings from hard discs, so I boot on my os with raid plugged in? Thanks in advance!! Edit: The situation just got weirder. I disabled the cache from custom entry and now I can't see any device, but if I put the raid 0 in it does try to read it and I still get stuck. How is this possible??? I disabled everything from scan, I can't even see my boot device, even thou I manually entered it, and clover still tries to read the raid 0.

CUDA 410.130 is out! (UPDATE 09/19/2018)

Hi everyone, I don't know if this is the place to give my feedback, but my CUDA is not working within Premiere Pro, the software is not recognizing it. My system is a Sierra 10.12.5 with latest CUDA (8.0.83) and Nvidia Web Drivers. I have not managed to make a fresh install, I'm in the middle of a project, but maybe someone has the same problem. I have a 1080Ti Extreme Edition, x99 5930k, Asus x99 Deluxe. I know it's a luxury to have CUDA since it's already awesome I can use both Mac and Pascal GPU right now. Thanks in advance!
  7. Neither of the 3 drives are working on 10.11.3 on a 980Ti with nvda_drv=1. Only nv_disable with lots of artefacts. Will try to upgrade to 10.11.4 and check it out. Anyone go it successfully? (on this GPU or similar, obviously). EDIT: Sorry, it IS working, just had a missing configuration. Everything's perfect with nvda_drv=1. Thanks
  8. Hey, thanks for your inputs! I tried your configuration (FakeCPUID set to 0x0306e2 + NULLCPU) with the same BIOS settings. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5 on a Asus X99 Deluxe with a 5930k OC'd to 4.5Ghz. Everything works fine, but my processor stays at max Frequency almost all the time. My score is fine, 25k, but I wish I had better PM. with XCPM and EIST enabled, from main topic config, I get good management, but my score gets lowered down and Frequency gets very unstable. It would be fine for overall usage, but as I use a lot of power for video encoding, this would be a drawback. Will really appreciate any help. EDIT: Got it working on El Capitan 10.11.3, must be yosemite problem. 27894 was highest. Odd how I got 2k more compared to Yosemite. config.plist.zip

El Capitan: Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

Hi Everyone, Thanks in advance for the help, I really appreciate it. I'm kind of new to the hackintosh community, but have Linux and OS X experience. I try to always search the most I can until I post a question, but now it's time to get some help. Problem report steps in bold 1 - I managed to install OS X with Clover V.2. Today I sat down to get my audio working, followed all guides but at the end it still didn't worked. At some point I could run audio but didn't outputted any real sound (don't remember when, sry). Now it doesn't start at all, it stays 0:00 on iTunes. 2 - Yosemite 10.10 on a Asus X99 Deluxe BIOS 2101 (Realtek 1150), i7 5930K CPU and MSI GeForge GTX 980Ti Lightning 3 - Used a mix of information, but all guides by toleda (sometimes on GitHub, mostly here. Few times I searched tony, just to check if any light would come up) My steps were: 1- Native AppleHDA install (by DPCIManager Kext install) 2- Copied HDAEnabler1 to kexts and installed it with DPCIManager (don't know if I could do just one, tried both) 3- Copied SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml to ACPI/Patched (ssdt_hdef-1-no_ioreg:hdef.zip) 4- Runned audio_codecdetect.command, Injection was OK 5- Audio_ID injection on config.plist (ID 1) Tried X99 Workaround steps 1 I didn't do it because already patched native AppleHDA 2 tried both 3456 ok Missing last boot log from Console, will put in a sec. Will be trying to review and redo my steps. Thanks a lot!
