Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I was formating it using GUID/GPT and OS X Extended Journaled but for some reason it didn't work. However using the Terminal did the job. Here's the command i used "diskutil eraseDisk HFS+ USB disk2"

After formatting the flash drive and copying the Sierra installer using the terminal command, there's no ESP (EFI) folder on the usb stick. "Diskutil list" says there's only one partition named "install macOS Sierra". I can't copy Clover and make the drive bootable. What do I do?

I figured, but I'd really appreciate it if you could provide a little more info. I've never worked with DSDT patches or manual patching before. I understand that I should take some "code" from your DSDT and put it into mine to get everything working, correct?

I found it but after putting it in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched I get a kernel panic upon boot.

I have a T520 with Intel HD3000 and Nvidia NVS4200M graphics cards. The integrated HD3000 works perfectly with the files posted here. The discrete card also works after disabling "Inject Intel" and enabling "Inject Nvidia" in Clover and changing SMBios to 10,1 (MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012). However I can't change the screen brightness. I get that this problem is related to some backlight kexts. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm trying to reinstall OS X but I can't get the resolution working right. I have a 1920x1080 display but it seems that the files have been updated and 1080p no longer works with the 1366x768 plist with Duallink enabled. Neither does the 1600x900 plist Any ideas? EDIT: FIXED I used the 1366x768 plist enabled Duallink (changed from 0 to 1) and removed the <data> <dict> <key>DualLink</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <true/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>InjectEDID</key> <false/> </dict>

How do I change what the blue ThinkVantage button does? I want to make it so that it lowers fan speed instead of increasing it. Also, I can't get the microphone button to work.

I just installed El Capitan on my T520 using this guide and so far everything works except WiFi. Here's some problems I faced and how I fixed them: I have a 1920x1080p display so I used the 1366x768 plist with Duallink enabled. I also had to resize the EFI partition made by Windows from 99mb to 400mb so that OSX would install, otherwise I'd get errors such as "This disk is locked". After that I installed it on a new partition on the same HDD as Windows 10 and both operating systems work fine. I also got my USB3.0 ExpressCard working. The only thing left is buying a Broadcom wifi card. My custom BIOS is already flashed.
