    Work x1950gt pro ! Dev_ID = 0x72801002 and 0x72881002 !

Works for my Sapphire x1950Pro. After upgrading from 10.6.6 I just had to replace the AtiRadeonx1000 & Ati1900Controller Kexts with the ones linked in foxman's post (http://www.mediafire.com/?w7qkcxhhmv99h14) HTH
  2. Just come across this thread and been able to successfully install and run Snow Leopard on my v1.0 GA-965P-DS4. Thanks guys! All seems to work but sleep, auto sleep kills the screen but the fans keep spinning, whilst forcing sleep from the menu causes a machine that doesn't wake. Is this typical for the 965-DS4 or are others able to get their Hacks to sleep?
  3. You can certainly use more than 4GB with your Hackintosh. Your problem is most likely SATA drivers, have you seen this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=127611? Enjoy, Leopard69

    ACPIPS2Nub and 10.5.2

Where would I get the vanilla acpiplatform kext from? Mine (from Kalyway 10.5.1) claims to be version 1.0.3. TIA

    Work x1950gt pro ! Dev_ID = 0x72801002 and 0x72881002 !

Bronya, thanks for your great work!!! Following your instructions I have now got my sapphire 256mb PCI x1950pro working with kalyway 10.5.1. I have QE/CI, resolution changing and no mouse tearing but one small problem remains. I am driving my monitor, a Samsung TFT, via DVI and every so often it seems to lose sync. leaving me with a blank screen. If I wait a few seconds then sync. is regained for a short while before the same thing happens again. I also see some screen judder. If I try and drive the monitor at 75Hz instead of 60Hz it loses sync much more often. I know there is not a problem with the hardware as I never see any of this whilst just running XP. Any ideas what this is and how I can stop it?
