  1. My computer: CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 Chipset: ATI 770 Mainboard: Gigabyte MA770-UD3 (integrated LAN, sound) Hard drive: SATA, DVD: IDE RAM: 4GB Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache Some years ago there's no chance to use OSX on this hardware. But the times are changing and now I can Install OSX but I've got some problems. Firstly I tried Niresh Yosemite 10.1. It installed but after reboot did not start. I may try Yosemite later or upgrade from Mavericks, but now I'd like to run any OSX properly but with Maverics I'm closer to success. I installed Niresh Maverics 10.9.0. from pendrive. On boot prompt I installed with /amd option. From the first screen my USB mous didn't work (also in Yosemite). I tried with USB mouse and PS/2 mouse. Both not working. Only USB keyboard works but it seems to make problems. I managed to install only with keyboard. Installer hang on reboot (only gray screen with moving circle for a very long time. After manual reboot, boot from HD end up with black screen only (I guess I should install Chameleon) but after start from pendrive I can boot from HD and OSX starts. Welcome screen appears and I have to choose country nad another start settings. Mouse all the time doesn't work. I tried to enter these first run settings but after using keyboard for a while (usually during creating user account) computer hangs definitely so I can do only reset. EDIT: I noticed one more thing that doesn't look normal. During hang (may be during OSX start) CPU temperature is raising very much. In 2-3 minutes from OSX start it raises from 45 C to 75 C. I think that isn't normal (CPU shouldn't be such overloaded during OSX start) and it may be the key to this problem. Any sugestions?
  2. I'd like to install any distribution of OSx. Before upgrading my computer I hadn't got a problem with it. Nor, some distibutions don't boot or there is still waiting for root device. My computer: CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 (where busratio is available, I set it to 17 (only Lawwless boots without whis setting), another distributions don't boot. Chipset: ATI 770 (which distribution has a kexts working with this chipset?) Mainboard: Gigabyte MA770-UD3 (integrated LAN, sound) Hard drive: SATA, DVD: IDE RAM: 4GB Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache (before upgrade works well on Leo4All) Wchih distribution is compatible with it or what should I do to install this one that I have (ex. iAtkosv7, LawwlessPPC)?
  3. Problem with installing Leopard

It doesn't work on VMWare for my. Any other ideas to make bootable Pendrive without OSX?
  4. I have an installation ISO image of Snow Leopard, but it's always restarting after boot loader on standard mach_kernel. I downloaded another kernel and I would like to check it. So how to change iso image of it?UltraISO show me only boot fiels, but not Mac OS X Volume. TransMac show only volume, but not fiels in root directory. All files show me only Iso Buster, but it is not possible to edit ISO. What do you suggest? Are there mach_tah for 10.6? It works on my machine.
  5. Problem with installing Leopard

I have no possibility to change my DVD. Is it possible to prepare bootable USB flash drive without Mac OS installed (on Windows or Linux)? I read tutorial, but only for installed Mac OS X.
  6. Changing to Chameleon

Is it possible to change boot loader to Chameleon on OS X ISOs with another boot loader than Chameleon? Is it possible to modify ISO?
  7. I tried to install different OS X, but with no result. The "best" result I have on Leopard 10.5.6 IPC and 10.5.8 Ideneb LIte. I found post that I need busratio=17 option and AHCI mode. Only with this I see logo. But quickly install stop with message on included photo form -v mode. I have AMD Phenom X4 965 BE CPU and Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 motherboard. Help please. How to install OS X on my PC?
  8. How to install Snow Leoprad on AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition? Are there any patches for it?
  9. Did someone try to install Snow Leopard on GA-MA770-UD3? I can't install - restart after loading Darwin. Tried newly creaded image Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_Intel_AMD_made_by_Hazard. Leopard 10.5 also has the same problem so I can't install it from Leopard. Any ideas, suggestions, patches?
  10. Help with PS2 keyboard

I had simillar problem with Leo4All. On the installer my PS/2 keyboard and mouse worked nut on system not worked. I copied all kexts from CD to my kexts folder and it solved this problem.
  11. I've installed 10.5.2 from Leo4All ISO (it's new very good prepared ISO without not patching). It installed with no problem but there is no PS/2 mouse and keyboard support in system (in installer it works well). I've noticed that there is no ApplePS2Keyboard.kext and ApplePS2Mouse.kext. Using console from installer program I copied this kexts from CD. But it still doesn't work. I tried repair permission using Disk Utility from installer but it didn't help. When I installed Leopard, to make new kexts load I used kextcache. Would you remind me how to use it and will it work in Leopard? If no, how to load this kexts using installer program from CD (Leopard is my only operating system, and from hard drive keyboard doesn't work so I can't use console from ma installed system. Do I need any other kexts to use PS/2 mouse and keyboard?
