    Intel FB-Patcher v1.6.4

Apologies - I no longer have the problem config plists. I recreated my config.plists from scratch on all my machines that were problematic after using the patcher and the issue was resolved. I did not use the patcher again so am afraid I have no useful information to give you.

    Intel FB-Patcher v1.6.4

A little feedback if I may - I did RTFM but I still got caught out and trashed my config.plist - have deleted the patcher in the meantime and will wait for the documentation.

    Running Mojave on unsupported hardware

is there any chance that any of the machines listed as unsupported for Mojave can be made to work - I have a Late 2011 MacBook Pro hence the interest.

Thanks for that slice, i tried and it had no effect. Am i missing something obvious here - this should just work shouldn't it? I have 2 things not working and there is a similarity - neither setting survives a reboot. 1. The mounting of ESP on boot 2. Nvidia webdrivers - i apply them by running the installer - reboot and they are not applied. Am suspecting the two things might be related but of course they might not. This is the first time I have tried creating a Legacy install - everything has always worked perfectly with UEFI installs I have done. I suspect the most likely cause of the issue is user error - that there is something i have missed. Slice is very busy so please anyone else chip in if you spot what is wrong.

I have built a hack with an old motherboard I had H61-S2V-B3 Rev1.0 and have come across an issue I have not seen before. Up until now I have only used Clover with UEFI board and this is the first time I have used Legacy so I may have made a basic error. My problem is that when I go to NVRam Variables in the Clover prefs pane and select my EFI partition at "Force mount selected ESP at startup" it will not work it changes back to No each time. The same is true with "Save NVRAM contents to disk". I installed using Clover_v2.3k_3354 and Installed using selections ESP, Install boot0af in MBR,CloverEFI 64-bits SATA & Installed Clover preference Pane Have attached config in a text file Can someone suggest what I am doing wrong? This has always worked for me on UEFI installs. config.rtf

G5 Front Panel to ATX I/O Cables

hello - once again have lost the instruction pdf - could you message a link thank you - about to rebuild my G5 :-)
  7. I have an issue which I believe is hardware related as I get a double beep from the bios and it will not display join this monitor Crossfire 27QLED native resolution 2560x2048. I can swap to a BENQ GL2450-T which has a native resolution of 1920x1080 and it works perfectly. I am using DVI Dual Link cable which I simply swap between the monitors for testing with the other end connected to my board Board - Gigabyte Z97X-SLI, CPU - Intel i7-4770k Onboard Graphics HD4600 Yosemite 10.10.1 with Clover v2k_r3065 Intel injection selected via Clover Configurator I want to use this monitor which I have previously used with Mavericks and a EVGA GT640 (want to use the onboard graphics now due to an issue with the nVidia drivers). I suspect this is something simple which I am missing so all suggestions gratefully accepted as to why my Crossfire does not play with the HD4600. Monitor does work with the nVidia card but am plagued by the nVidia reboot issue. Edited to add just discovered if I change CSM support from Never to Always I get some text from the Clover boot loader, although still can't boot - perhaps this is a boot loader config issue

Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

ah - yes I thought I remembered that correctly - I will change boards when Apple release (and there is support for) next generation boards and processors - thanks again for all the good work :-)

Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

toleda, many thanks the new script enables ALC898 :-) However there appears to be a problem which I think is related to my specific board (Z77X-UD5H Rev 1.0) - that the green port on the rear does not work and whilst the black port works there is a loud popping noise. I have however previously created a DSDT for HDMI Audio based on your instructions so I can use that and the speakers on my HDMI TV/Monitor rather than my computer speakers. Thank you again for your efforts.

Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

I have run the script several times but always the same - I am attaching the files you asked for - the uploader will not let me add config.plist it says I am not allowed to upload that type of file - so I am attaching the 3 files in a zip debug_files.zip

Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

I have just installed a clean install of Yosemite Public Beta 3 and thought I would use the ALC Injection via Clover rather than the method I used to use previously. It appeared to go well - script completed successfully but I have no audio devices listed after reboot so here is the requested info for troubleshooting. I have ID3 set in Clover Configurator and I can see the ALC kext in my EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.10 No audio devices listed in sound preferences (but I can see listing for HD Audio in System Information/Hardware/Audio) 10.10 Yosemite PB3 /Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H/BIOS F16 mod11 Tweaktown/3770k/HD4000 Procedure/Guide Used - cloverALC/Clover patched from this thread. Copy of IOReg - the_gael's ioreg - (attached) Unmodified AppleHDA from 10.10 PB3 - (attached) Chameleon - NOT APPLICABLE Clover EFI/Clover/config.plist EFI/Clover/misc/debug.log (Set config.plist/Boot/Debug/YES) EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched/dsdt.aml (not installed) EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched/ssdt.aml (not installed) Edited to add text output from terminal Edited again to add in order to get some audio while I try and get ALC injection via Clover working I have loaded a DSDT for HDMI Audio I used previously with this motherboard and Bios and I get Audio via HDMI only working OK. I believe that the ALC injection via Clover would not need the DSDT. config.plist.txt AppleHDA.kext.zip debug.log.txt the_gael’s ioreg.txt Terminal Saved Output.txt

I have just run into an issue with boot timeout not working and wonder if there is something else that can override what I set in my config.plist. I used the tool for applying a theme in Clover Configurator and I suspect that the issue cropped up as a result of doing that. Anyway what I am faced with now is that the config.plist on my machine has the timeout specified but when I boot I have to manually press return to boot. <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>CustomLogo</key> <string>None</string> <key>DefaultVolume</key> <string>Macintosh HD</string> <key>Legacy</key> <string>PBR</string> <key>Log</key> <false/> <key>Secure</key> <false/> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>XMPDetection</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> What could be overriding this setting? EDITED TO ADD - Resolved. I could not understand why everything appeared to be setup correctly and this did not work I looked at the debug log and the timeout was definitely being set. So I looked to see what else could be causing the issue. I guess I was looking for a technical reason why it did not work but then after looking at a Backup of the drive I realised that the volume name had changed - how I did it I don't know but the "t" in Macintosh was missing - looking back through the backups the issue started when the name changed. So as Clover could not find the default volume it was not applying the timeout. With the name restored all works again :-)

Is there a known issue with Clover 2795 where it does not inject the ethernet kext from EFI>EFI>Clover>Kexts>10.9? I did a search for 2795 but nothing came up that seemed relevant. I have added my ethernet kext AppleIntelE1000e.kext into the folder but booting with Clover 2795 does not inject the kext successfully. I have added the kext to S/L/E and it works perfectly. If not a known issue - any thoughts why this should be happening? Edited to add Downloaded a fresh copy of 2795 and recreated my config - all works - so probably user error
  14. is this driver still being developed - is there somewhere where we can feedback on what does not work?
