  1. Hi. I´m new to dual Boot. I have tried EasyBCD to boot into both Windows7 and Mac OS X, but i can only successfully boot Win7, i get KP on Mac OS X. If i F8 boot from the Mac drive with Chameleon v2 RC4 i can load OS X SL 10.6.6 perfect but Windows 7 with random BSOD and no Sleep/insomnia issue. The Mac OS X is retail installed on a separate disk with GUID table. Can i use EasyBCD or is there another way to have dualboot?
  2. Hi. I have sleep/power-off issue with my P5Q-SE Plus mobo. I think it might be a Bios/Memory issue and not OS X because i have the same issue on Win7. i have 2x Corsair 2Gb CL5-5-5-15 @ 1066Mhz 2.1v i have manually set the correct values in BIOS (i think), but i´m not sure about the AI clock twist and all ablut that..? What are your BIOS-setting for the memory and Power? I use this Power settings: Suspend Mode (S3 only) Repost Video on S3 Resume (No) ACPI 2.0 Support (Enabled) ACPI APIC Support (Enabled) -> wont load any OS without. Everything else works great under 10.6.6 =) except Optical S/PDIF audio. EDIT: S/PDIF now working. THIS GUIDE and modify the Audio/MIDI settings till your reciever gets the signal. Sleep issue in Win7 is du to Boot from GUID Chameleon and selected Win7 from there. When booting from Win7 Sleep in Windows works. Now i know i need to figure out how to multiboot into Mac OS X GUID from Win7 harddrive (EasyBCCD ?) Leaving for that thread.

It has nothing to do with dual view, I have dual display´s. Please help me? I have tried with Titan, Natit and NVinject. 9. I have the P5B-VM DO MoBo and currently running Leopard 10.5.1, With 10.5 ToH Kernel. I started with the Flat-img install, edited most of the .kext there is, downloaded the 10.5.1 upgrade from www.apple.com and installed it. Rebooted into Windows and exchanged the mach_kernel. Booted Leopard and it works like a charm Still having difficulties with the onboard LAN Intel 82566DM (eprom checksum error), only 2ch Audio with "Azalia", No QE and only soft CI on my 7950GT. but everything else on the board is ok, USB, CPU, RAM, PCIe, FireWire, S-ATA (Jmicron) havent testing the Intel ICH8R Raid because i don´t want to kill my 2x500Gb raid i have all my data at

Ok, a little update in my progress. I FOUND THE CONSOLE! A little step for a Mac user but a gigant leap for me. I guess I know why i must Safe Boot. I think it is because the NVDANV40Hal.kext can´t find my gfx-board within the family even though i placed the 0x029510de&0xfff0ffff in Info.plist seems like the Leopard just can´t open the LogIn window for some reason i cant figure out to solve. System seems running behind the Black (sometimes blue) screen with the pointer and its frozen friend in the corner. Because i boot in safemode the .kext for my Audio, 802.11g and Bluetooth won´t load. I acutually got the bluetooth to work and receaved its "mac adress", i use the Logitech BT Mini Receiver comming with DiNovo Laser bundle. I can tell you how i did, but first i need to know how to boot in normal mode. I´m very new to this hackIntosh thing. The AirPort finds my Broadcom based 802.11g card and it has a Mac adress, but not in safe boot. I post 3 bootlogs _0 and _2 is in normal state and _1 is in Safe Boot mode. LATEST! Accidently deleted all files in /Extensions when trying to install some GeForce##.kext with Kext Loader. Started up Vista and copied them back, replaced kernel from one of ToH´s and now i can write this in Safari!!! No SafeBoot, but no GeForce Drivers loaded atm. Hope to se a complete solution soon. Bootable (eg. change boot drive with in my case F8 and select my 200Gb) but won´t load Leopard any futher than that i see a black screen with a mouse-pointer in the corner (i can move it, but it duplicates) By pressing F8 when it boots up and typeing "platform=X86PC -x -v) Leopard launches and i fill in all user info. When i try install PC_EFI v5, v6, v7 or v8 according to every thread in the forum it ends up with a PANIC debug or the "you must restart your computer" screen -reinstall Everytime i want to run Leopard i need to; Select bootdrive by Pressing F8, Halt the Darwin loader by pressing F8, type "platform=X86PC -x -v" I have tried to rewrite the AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext file a few times sucessfully and loadable before i realized that´s not the solution for my lack of Sound When i try to install the AppleHDA.kext or AppleAzaliaAudio.kext files and rewrite there sources, they won´t load ;( Sometimes i wonder if they really are made for Leopard and not for Tiger? Sound not working - PCIMatch 0x284b8086 or 0x81eb1043, AppleHDA.kext, ALCinject.kext and/or AppleAzaliaAudio.kext? LAN not working - PCIMatch 0x104a8086 or 0x82861043, in which .kext i don´t know at the moment. WiFi Not working - PCIMatch 0x432014e4 or 0x70011799, Both of them added inAppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext inside IO80211Family.kext. No CI or QE support atm, trying to get the GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext to load /? Do i need NVinject.kext (v0.1.7)? proper Boot not working dual Boot not working Is the .kext files loading properly when booting in "platform=X86PC -x -v -legacy" mode? "Safe Boot" (atm the only way for me to get to Login screen) Is there a way to see which .kext files are currently active or loaded at boot? Sometimes i don´t know if anything of what i´m doing in the .kext filed matter - exept when i cant boot in safemode and need to reinstall, again and again. Please help me. best Regards from cold, cold Sweden
