  1. Hi @all, last evening i´ve gave the sony vgx-xl 201 mediacenter a (last year much more without success) chance to install osx. I´ve used iatkos 5i Leopard 10.5.6 (with iatkos v7 - no chance). The graphic with the nvidia 7600 gtl works out of the box and sound i use tarugas hda patcher 1.20 and codec dump. Sleep without problems. Everything works fine but when i shut down the system it restarts automaticly. Any solution about this? Thanx a lot! Cheers, Martin from Germany

OSX 10.5.8 is now in software update

Updatet my System few days before with combo update. Everything works fine - all i have to do is to get sound working...that was no problem. But now i get a kernel panic when i want to install new software - i try with other software - same too! Has anyone an idea? I´m using iAtkos V5 with Voodoo R1 (xnu). Thanks in advance Martin from Germany

›› Voodoo XNU Kernel is now Released

Does the 10.5.6 Update overwrite the sytem kext and must i also overwrite this with my stored system kext? Or are there any suggestions with the Apple update? What must i do after? I´m using the Final Voodoo Kernel. Thanx a lot for reply!

    Shuttle SG31G2 Install

Hi Arthur1, i´ve try´d TimeMachine last Weekend but it didn´t work! It say´s "Drive not Found"??? But the external USB Drive is present in Finder and also on Desktop...don´t know how to fix it. I have changed the partition to Guid, MBR...nothing happens. No Problems here! I used "standart" install. the only one i must use is dsmos.kext and i install manualy ethernet, Sound (ALC888) and Graphic after iAtkos 5i install.

Another Question...if Apple Update used - does the update overwrite the system kext and must i have a copy from installed RC kext to overwrite the changed Apple Update System kext before restart? (after Apple Update) Sorry for my English!

    iATKOS 5i 10.5.5 Intel DVD

Hi why did you not use an HDA Patcher from Taruga? I think you need the HDA patcher 1.20 and the correct Codec Dump to fix it! Take a look: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=32859

    iATKOS 5i 10.5.5 Intel DVD

I´m using iAtkos 5i without any problems! Thanx once more! I´ve changed the Beta RC2 Kernel to the new RC1 XNU Kernel successfully but i would repair Disk Permissions and in Terminal i use "diskutil repairPermissions" shows me the following line: ACL found but not expected on "Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist" I have renamed the RC1 Kernel in root as "voodoo" and in com.apple.bootplist from custom also to "voodoo". How can i fix the little issue in Disk Utility? Many thanx! Greets Martin from Germany
