  1. If that are the major flaws of TB15 I might consider selling mine WD15 (USB-C dock) and buying used TB15 from eBay. Thanks for heads up. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Dell TB15 has been discontinued by Dell due to the many various issues with its hardware and firmware, Dell even offered a replacement for people who bought TB15 on TB16, but you can still trying. TB15 in this price is worth at least giving it a shot.
  3. Have you checked if they are detected in the same way while they are plugged into hdmi built-in the xps? If yes this may be a problem with Mac OS. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. I've never had problem with colour reproduction on the external displays attached to mine Dell dock, have you tried to install and manually change the color profile of your displays in the Mac OS. On the other hand I still have a problem with connecting mouse and keyboard to the dock. It's still not recognised even after replacing ssdt-tb.aml file with the one provided by goodwin_c. 5. Dell released new USB type C/thunderbolt firmware update for Dell docks along side with the bios update. Can someone check if it is affecting anything. I would do this by myself but currently I am using ssd with only Windows installed on it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. What kind of the SSD do you have? I don't know if the Hynix SSD (Someone with this SSD have to confirm this) still might need some patches. Samsung's SSDs are not compatible with 4K patch/4k low-level formatting.
  7. And you have to change from ride mode to ahci if you haven't done it yet.
  8. It should pass through this stage. I've looked in to your clover folder on my phone briefly and I don't know what you might did wrong. I don't own Toshiba or Hynix drive so my Hackintosh uses hacker kept and SSDT. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. You must use Ubuntu 16.10 not 16.04. Nvme-cli doesn't work at all on 16.04, it doesn't detect drive no matter what. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. According to what you have done so far You missed the part with creating Linux USB live pendrive and erasing the newly creating partition with gparted. Get a spare pendrive, download Ubuntu 16.10 iso, create installation media with either rufus or universal installer, open gparted and erease the partition designated to install osx, don't create anything just follow the rest of installation instruction and that should sort it out. 11. Samsung isn't slowest. Dell sent to the possibly slowest unit because 951 reach end of life status and they try to clear out the warehouses. I've got Samsung 951 nvme from this link https://www.scan.co.uk/products/512gb-samsung-sm951-m2-(22x80)-pcie-30-(x4)-nvme-ssd-mlc-nand-read-2150mb-s-write-1550mb-s-300k-iops and it's exactly as it is advertised. MLC NAND, Read 2150MB/s, Write 1550MB/s, 300k I OPS. I'm not defending Samsung, because they're should be sued for punished for delivering product with the same name and different specification, also for shipping drives formated as 512kb for Windows & 4k for Apple (macbooks uses Toshiba, Hynix & Samsung drives, modified of course because of the apple amazing socket) , but still Samsung it's probably the fastest nvme drive (at least pro version) at the market. 12. Why are you trying to repair your drive? You have to erase (which will wipe all of the data on your target drive so do a data backup), partition it as HFS+ with GPT portion table and then attempt the installation. If you want to keep your windows instalation without wiping it you will have to create a new partition formated as HFS+ along side windows (make sure that drive with the windows is partitioned as GPT otherwise you'll encounter problems hard to resolve) and on this new partition you have to install MacOS. The best will be if you tell us what it is your native language (Mine is Polish, so you can pm me, English is 3th and it's Meh) because at this point it is really hard to understand what exactly you're trying to achieve. 13. Any device released before launch of the new Macbook Pro won't work. Apple dropped backward compatibility with the thunderbolt chips manufactured before November 2016, - Source - 9to5mac. Unless as wmchris said somebody wrote a patch/fix/kext for thunderbolt it won't work out of the box (Some of the users from other hackintosh forums reported that motherboards with 2xx chipsets and built-in thunderbolt chips & connectors works straight after mac os installation without any patches/fixes or additional kext, also external thunderbolt adapters connected to motherboard has no issues with compatibility under Mac os). If anybody of you have thunderbolt device for test it and share the ioreg/system information dumps, here is the github thread where @syscl & @dpassmor are working on patch/fix for usb-c/thunderbolt https://github.com/syscl/XPS9350-macOS/issues/33 @Gymnae you should be able to use two 4k display screen under windows, also according to Dave Lee's youtube video you should be able to use eGPU with external display without noticeable drops in performance. mac os for some reason its only capable of running 4k@30hz (both DP and HDMI checked) which was reported even by real macbook pro users. 4k display screens so far are not plug&play devices at the moment.
  14. But this need to be repeated every each time after windows updates its files, changing boot eateries is just update-proof for both operating systems.
  15. That is already sorted out. Check first post/github repo for updates and also if someone have a problem that wasn't mentioned anywhere or its completely new it would be good if share some more details about it (especially if it's something new / recently discovered) e.g. Disabled Hdmi output is commonly known as problem which is mostly associated with 13.3 SMBIOS and solution for that is also at the github repo.
