  1. GeForce 200 series support

I have an Palit G210 that worked out of the box in my system. This is what i did: - install Snow 10.6.0 using retail method - install 10.6.6 Combo update (do not restart yet) - install latest Chameleon (RC5 699) - add GraphicsEnabler - Yes in com.apple.Boot.plist - install fakeSMC and all required kexts in /E/E - install dsdt.aml - repair permissions - restart and enjoy Snow Leopard
  2. I replaced the HIS ATI 4350, which I did not make it work, with a Palit Geforce 210, at the same price, that works out of the box, including QE/CI.
  3. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

I have given up trying to setup my Ati 4350, and I bought a Palit G210 that worked out of the box on my system
  4. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

Great! I will try to update when I get home. Your monitor has DVI or VGA input? Mine has only VGA input and in 10.6.5 version I get blank screen no matter if i connect to the video card by VGA port or by DVI port via donngle
  5. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

I have only an VGA connector in my iiyama display. My card is an HIS ATI 4350 with VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. I tried both VGA and DVI (with VGA adaptor) without luck. I Did not try the HDMI connector
  6. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

I have same problem too. I tried everything but I can not get rid of black screen. Snow Leopard boots but without signal from videocard
  7. [HOW TO] ATI HD 4350

I tried again without luck. With ATI kexts i get black screen, without ATI kexts i boot SL at 1440x1050 resolution without QE/CI. What I do wrong? I really want my card running in SL
  8. [HOW TO] ATI HD 4350

I have a Gigabyte GA-EP35C-DS3R motherboard and an HIS ATI 4350 video card. I installed Snow Leopard 10.6.5 using the retail method and files from this post. Then I installed ANARCHiNTOSH kexts but after boot I get a black screen while the system continues to load. If I remove all ATI kexts i can boot in Snow Leopard with 1440 x 900 resolution. Can someone help me with a solution?
  9. [HOW TO] ATI HD 4350

    I manage to install Snow Leopard on my system (MB: GA-EP35C-DS3R, GPU: Ati 4350) but i have problems with screen resolution. I do the right setup with Lizard and the resolution is 1400 x 1050 instead of 1680 x 1050. System profiler reports: ATI Radeon 4300 Series: Chipset Model: ATI Radeon 4300 Series Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x954f Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-B7710C-176 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.318 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1400 x 1050 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Display Connector: and my com.apple.boot.plist is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1680x1050x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <key>Rescan</key> <string>Yes</string> <string></string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </plist>
  10. I just bought an ATI 4350 by HIS for $28 (the cheapest that I found). When I have time I will try installing SnowLeopard using this method. I will post my results soon.
  11. Thanks for your sugestion, but i'm also looking for an graphic card that has low power consumption (see this chart). So the criteria is cheap + low power consumption! Another option is for Nvidia GeForce 210. I need a confirmation from someone who manage to have a full working videocard (with QE/CI) in Snow Leopard
  12. I'm looking for a cheap videocard to upgrade my ATI HD3650 wich is not compatible with Snow Leopard. I'm thinking at ATI 4350 or ATI 5450. Wich one is better supported in SnowLeopard? My motherboard is Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R
  13. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

Cool down, Man! Take a deep breath! We are not allowed to give any torrent links here, but you may google for "Leo4All-10.5.2 Universal AMD/INTEL[sSE2/SSE3]". The steps for installing OSx on Inspiron 1501 i just described in post #13! Good luck!
  14. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

try boot using -f command can you upload the files you used for video and sound?
  15. Leopard on VMware

I used that method with Leo4all v2, and worked from the first boot on VMWare with my Dell Inspiron 1501. I'll hope to find some time for testing the sound and network in VMWare, because when i boot Leo native works!
